The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Joe ... add to that the vast number of "giveaway" options to the management team when the company was formed. This is another chance for JP, Marco and friends to rinse PIs. It's no wonder that investors are cautious, they don't want to be ripped a 3rd time !
JC ... under the radar or not interested at this stage.
Take your pick, but the later me thinks.
I believe investors want tangible value, not potential.
If they find something that has value then watch the SP rise
I hope so too ... let's see.
Reg .. I've been on here for 10 years + and post very infrequently. Couldn't give a toss about posting numbers.
Fair enough Joe .. all "tongue in cheek"!
If SOU has taught us anything (I could add a few others to that list) is that AIM stocks are ideal for trading.
Unless CORO turns out to be that "unicorn" that most PI's bank on.
I will be trading this as much as possible as I did Echo.
It's just what the directors of these companies do .. or try to.....
Which leads me to the question ... "What is your dump price?"
Or perhaps a minor "pump" ..... ?
Wow Joe ... u have been "....buying at these prices" for about 9 months now.
Planning on a hostile takeover? ;-)
Should have said "they will be referencing sp"
Shaun, if you don't think that potential buyers will be referencing the SP in their negotiations u are mistaken.
They will use this as leverage.
Sure, it doesn't mean the company is worth 7p per share, but it will still be a factor.
Additionally we raised funds near this value, which was a shockingly poor piece of planning by the mgmt team when they could have raised for 20p a few months before that.
Shows a distinct lake of strategy and planning.
James ... that's on you!
"Showing interest" is not equal to "making offer"
I saw 100 people at an "open home" once.
Zero offers.
SP is down due to end of year time frames and flakey wording.
How many companies would say to their shareholders that we are taking 6 some time out to see if anyone wants to buy the company. Might be 6 months. Might not.
We will of course all still get paid during this period.
We will make a token reduction in our salaries though, we are fair people after all.
Shocking behaviour.
Had to be said ....
JTF - Do you not think any potential buyer will reference the current SP to try and leverage a low ball offer. Of course they will ! Will that approach succeed? If there is no competition what choice does SOU have.
Shed .... Put it this way, it's not on the table for SOU. That throw away comment that it could used by someone else is just a crumb of positivity from another duster.
Shed .. te10 is toast .. forget it.
Turtle "What is to stop a good LE against the EM asset (with CP) and then SOU continue with the other Desert adventures?" A buyer .. at the moment. Hopefully that changes soon.
Jobbs ... I just agree with you. There is no way he could release the date. I would love to know though .....
Drule, of course he cares. Do you not think he would love to be sitting with another million or two in the bank account after selling shares from the TP? Also, when raising funds through equity it costs a hell of a lot more when the SP is low. If our SP was currently 50p, he would be feeling a whole lot better, trust me.
Jobb ... and ehire said he should ?
LW - interesting approach to have app at people providing their opinions ... and then give your own :-) Balance is good ... been too many "bluesky" opinions, for too long......
