why would marketmakers try to "keep the price down"?

All they care about is volume and the spread, they couldn't give a jot what the price is at any time

JH 100% correct and it would be a Red Flag if a fledgling Biotech Board did not have the ability to raise cash to deliver the pipeline

Too many "untruths" on here about the GM from people with an axe to grind

a Company with this late stage pipeline needs funding to get some of these valuable drug candidates through Phase 3 to NDA - there is nothing wrong with that

that is what small fast growing Biotechs need to do - drug development is expensive

Yes, I am not sure Jatw and whilst known already, there is always appears to be higher volume in the few days prior to significant news. Probably always just a con-incidence of course......we are back to the valuation we were at 3 years ago, which is a great buying opportunity for some, like me. We have not seen any Director Buys for some time, maybe that will change at some point.

Huge volume and buying on NASDAQ this afternoon in the first 1.5 hours, let's hope we get the news we have been waiting for with the Savo NDA or possibly a large molecule acquisition ;o-)

15% of Phase 1 drugs make it to market, 28% of phase 2 drugs make it to market., average development time P1,2,3,NDA, approval = 11 years so this is a long term investment play

and still about 50% under-valued by the market based on reasonable DCF metrics

it allowed me to buy more, it's a pity the price is still back where it was over 2.5 years ago despite all the fantastic progress - very undervalued by the market in my view

there is still an overhang, once cleared things will change

always been very tightly held, with some off market deals, hopefully we will get back to the all time highs we achieved 2.5 years ago

We have to hope that Trump's anti-china policies and his desire to punish China will not negatively impact on us and others such as Beigene.
