TR1 Notification of 23.75% reached on 13th August & notified on 15th August

Yet RNS's issued within a few hours of each other today

Is this normal? Or is there something awry with the timings here?

If Peel were adding and reached 24% on the 10th, how come the market was only advised today and then told a few hours later that they have reduced it to 23.75%?

Surely something doesnt sound right there especially as they disposed of the 0.26% the day an RNS drops out of the blue advising that unaudited financials are about to be released?

I cant be the only one thinking what the hell just happened?

A real mixed bag so far, i am genuinely surprised at the optimism remaining but then I suppose most of those displaying pessimism arent usually invested here and wont be reading this as theres no ramping or deramping to do without news.
Im glad im a LTH in the seemingly minority position of being less confident than 12months ago.

As for amending state aid rules. That wont be an issue. Corbyn et all want to renationalise railways and utilities as part of their manifesto. Adding mining of minerals onto that taxpayer funded shopping list wont be too much of a chew to adjust

Cebo, many things happen with regards to tanker planning. Shutdowns are planned in during any particular loading window, so that one time you may have 10days before the next tanker or 12 days. It isnt as you say solely dependent on flow rates from the wells.
There are many other variables which contribute towards this.
We have to remember also that weather plays a part and with the greatest will in the world an FPSO around the UK coast will be in the top quartile if it manages +90% uptime for production.
Rigs are stable, FPSO's not so much.
Also, as im sure you are aware, ancillary equipment need to be tested and recertified at regular intervals. This includes offlloading hose strings etc and im sure that you more than most know all about the potential for delays during such a thing <wink> <wink>

Considering that we are at the stage of determining if this is commercial or not & knowing that the last RNS indicated a much higher flow than was previously expected. So much so that they needed to bring in a larger pump. Which of the following reasonings do you think most likely to be contained in the next RNS?

An RNS stating that they had to use the perf gun to stimulate further flow as the flow decreased unexpectedly?

Or

An RNS stating they decided to use the perf gun as minimal previous perfs had shown greater than expected flow rates and they wanted to see just how large a maximum flow rate they could achieve during the evaluation phase?

Thsts a fair point aerial & yes no doubt my scepticism and doubt are driven by past events
