Calm down a bit?29 Aug 2018 12:32
All this excitement about tankers is great, it is but lets not get carried away.
We know there is oil there, we know tankers have arrived and took away lots of the good stuff but we arent in the production phase yet, we're still in the EWT period.
Tankers will come and go and not necessarily in any regular frequency, just in an ad hoc as and when needed to empty the storage tanks.
Loads of tankers arriving doesnt mean we've hit the jackpot, same as no tankers for a week or so doesnt mean that we've got a duster.
Yes its exciting but temper that excitement with a bit of restraint.
The SP will rise on a good RNS, to artifically rise beforehand exposes those who buy in at an inflated price to a massive losses if the news isnt as good as expected.
We all want this to do well but surely if you are a responsible LTH, you want this to grow in an organic sustainable manner not in an over-hyped manner, where the only winners are the rampers and day traders and the only losers are your average Private Investor who ends up holding the baby should the promise not be fully realised?
I dont care if I have to wait another few weeks for official news one way or another.
I want the SP to reflect reality and I dont want to see anyone dragged in by rampers and then left sitting on huge paper losses.
Just my opinion and not meant to criticise anyone
