Bowood reporting on iii, believes, 'They are due to complete the first build in 5 weeks so I understand' I've found trying to get much info out of Amedeo, difficult. The're not good on giving anything to P.I's. Just possible that news could be close and that's the reason for being so 'tight-lipped'; who knows! If the build so near completion, that would be ahead of schedule I believe, so encouraging. And the delivery and one believes, final payment to Amedeo, maybe due in the summer, plus another few hundred K £ fee from MGR, also. I have no intention of selling, seeing what news appears over the summer, at least. We're due Final Results by then, and progress will be reported by then,plus one hopes, further contracts.IMHO.

Perhaps we were stakeholders in BAO, via our shareholding in commodites house MGR Resources, also based in Singapore. Anyone know anything? Intriguing.

Not sure if true, need's a long-awaited news release from Amedeo Resources, but I've heard that we could be due some monies from today's 'Take-over news/the selling of Baobab Resources'. Amedeo Resources were stakeholders in Baobab Resources; I wasn't aware of this?!?

Having spoken to Amedeo Resources, I was told financials until the end of January, will be reported, six months later: Results end of July.

Well Yangzijiang Shipbuilding continues to pick up business, shame it's not our offshore yard! Singapore: Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has announced that it has secured new orders from JHW Engineering & Contracting, a subsidiary of JACCAR Holdings who own Evergas, to build two 27,500cbm LNG carriers. The contract is valued at $135m and the two vessels are schedulded to be delivered in 2017. Ren Yuanlin, executive chairman of Yangzijiang, commented: “Yangzijiang has entered a relatively mature stage in building bulk carriers and containerships and it has been on the management’s agenda to formulate sustainable product strategy. Related research shows that global LNG market will grow from 238 Mtpa in 2014, to 420 Mtpa in 2020, and is expected to further increase to 500 Mtpa in 20251. The strategy to grow LNG vessel business aims to capture the stable medium to long term demand with its promising outlook." Yangzijiang joins Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry (XSI) and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (DSIC), who also received their very first LNG vessel orders this year. [17/02/15]

Just been quoted with Halifax 0.45p to buy 100k; OR SELL 100K 0.45p ALSO.. Exactly SAME price! Mmmm!!!

All three are buys this morning. To sell 0.465p, to buy smaller amounts than those today 0.495p. Patience in overdrive now! Re news. But no intention of selling; with oil prices on the recovery, can only be positive for Amedeo. Forecasts, general consensus, about $85 crude by final quarter this year; maybe in a couple of year, touching a respectable $90-$100.

I'm still waiting on a return email response to when we're due the next Results. I'm of the belief it'll be end of March. However, having spoken to a 'contact' of Amedeo's(I don't wish name) I was told Results are not due now, however It was mentioned, I quote "they are working on some numbers". Make that of what you will!

Well it does seem we're being starved of updates/news for a long, long time! These negotiations take more than the once 4-6 months, of approximate timescale to possible finalisation I thought I'd read, heard; however since then we've had the fallen oil price and maybe some have stalled/are being re-negotiated. But I continue to keep positive, we've not seen the 'significant shareholders' sell, and associated Singapore Yangzijiang Shipbuilding(Holding)Ltd.is seen as one of the top ship yards in China. The MM's aren't having mine at a poxy 0.35p!!! I'm looking at X5-X10 minimum.

I think we've got confused, their change of scheduling of Results, means that they are not due imminent. I'm in the process of contacting Amedeo. Hopefully, just a few P.I's getting spooked on wait for news, but I don't think we should be panicking. The MM's are loving this fall; 0.35p to buy; could be a bargain, but I'm fully loaded!

End of yesterday and so far today, MM's happy to take on over one million shares, 0.403p. But surely, an update must be due very soon. There is the Interims end of month, but us P.I;s should be kept up-to-date; although perhaps it's a case of "on going discussions in later stages", still! I think it was a Proactiveinvestors.com mention, back in the middle of last year, that Amedeo's largest shareholder, for instance was keen to purchase a greater stake; what's the latest on that, and isn't presently, an attractive price!?! How's MGR Resources progressing also, would be good to hear. Frustrating wait for an update.

Bargain bucket prices!?! Back to where we were before that short-lived rally; 0.475p to buy, with sells at 0.45p. Year end results due 31st January, but that's a Saturday, so maybe the following Monday 2nd February. Am I right?

Well we are the YZJ Offshore, however what's positive is we may see the 'overspill' contracts, hopefully soonish, if the Yangizjiang Shipbuilding's yard is full! From the recent Amedeo's Interims RNS, it stated as follows,'Explorer 1 is expected to be delivered in the second half of next year. In addition, the New Year is ready to ABSORB OVERSPILL FROM YANGIZJIANG SHIPBUILDING(HOLDINGS) PTE LTD YARD, AMEDEO'S JOINT VENTURE PARTNER' Maybe this is where the Times's mention of 'AMED RUMOURS THAT A TRIO OF LONG EXPECTED CHUNKY CONTRACTS FROM CHINA' were hinting at.

MM's happy to take on large amounts at 0.531p, but difficult to buy 300K; Halifax it goes to negotiated trade.

Nothing new but worth posting from today's Results

Amedeo continued to make progress. In April 2014, the keel of Explorer 1, Amedeo's first jack up rig order was laid at, importantly, Amedeo's new offshore vessel yard. Explorer 1's build is currently on schedule and to quality, and it is expected to be delivered in 3Q15. Moreover, the new yard is fully operational. Discussions with new potential customers are on-going, and despite the declining oil price, the new yard's management are confident of obtaining further orders. Approximately half the world's offshore rig fleet is over 25 years old and replacement cannot be postponed indefinitely. Amedeo's 49% investee, MGR Resources PTE ltd ("MGR"), remained profitable despite a fall in iron ore prices. In addition, MGR improved the quality of its contracts.

Whoops; if only! Not 1.45p, we wish!!! I mean 0.46p now, to sell whether hefty or smaller amounts. Tick up though

You can sell hefty amounts at 1.45p, which has not been possible for some recent days. Tight spread, generally 0.46p to sell & 1.485p to buy, but a premium to buy larger amounts. Looks like it'll be next year for an update now; disappointing the lack of updates, and share price lows, but the Aim market has been similarly hit' generally. I'm continuing to remain positive though, as we all know this has the potential to multi-bag and a positive exciting future.
