@Lseo - I agree - I'm not questioning what has happened with Havieron- I'm talking about future farm in agreements with GGP's other assets - You are missing the point.

Anyway, now a troll has joined the conversation with nothing but a de-ramping statement that holds no substance - Time for me to log out and enjoy my Saturday evening with the family. ALB

@Jambo - Agreed for Havieron because debt finance can be repaid via income generated from production but regarding the other tenements its better to get a cash raise via a placing - that way GGP can negotiate a better deal on any future farm in agreements and hopefully GGP should be able to retain 50% of the production share should we get to that level.

Someone earlier said Newcrest are the one's spending all the money but Newcrest are getting the lions share of the production and although they took a higher risk at the start of the farm in agreement the money they have invested in Havieron is nothing compared to the underlying asset discovered at Havieron.

GGP are now a proven explorer in a region that has a lot of activity and with more cash on the balance sheet will be able to achieve a much better farm in agreement wether thats with Newcrest or another. Havieron is fantastic - its a major tier 1 discovery but the leverage from Havieron on GGP's other assets could be transforming for the business and indeed us shareholders. ALB

Good afternoon Folks....regarding the subject of wether a new placing will happen or not - I for one only see an advantage if the BoD's do decide on a new placing - There would be no problem in raising interest in a book build and I believe they would not need to offer massive discounts. With so many exciting tenements that need to be explored the more cash the better so we can accelerate this business into a multi-billion mcap. Also the more cash we hold on the balance sheet the stronger we are even with our relationship with Newcrest.

GH has said on many occasions he would prefer to use debt financing regarding Havieron but looking at the other tenement opportunities GGP hold there possibly could be a placing - in which case I would continue to hold my faith in the proven success of the executives .

Looking forward with confidence on my holding at GGP and have no intentions of selling in the short term. ALB

Guys, I don't need a lesson on how broker notes work thank you very much....I was simply pointing out that to suggest they are always wrong is simply a false and misleading statement - the same would apply if you suggested they were always wrong which is what you point 6) inferred.

And as individual private investors we all have our own target prices which obviously change according to news flow and general market appraisals etc.

Anyway, keep up the good work. ALB
