Chart from early October has formed a symmetrical triangle wedge with ever decreasing highs, and ever increasing lows suggesting neither the bulls or bears are in charge. Over the next couple of days, a close above 26.5p the chart should become bullish, a close below 25p the chart is likely to turn bearish. Results are very good and did encourage a decent buy close to end of play on Friday!

Pretax profit of GBP517,122 in the half year to end-September, versus a pretax loss of GBP434,440 a year before, as revenue rose to GBP5.4 million from GBP3.2 million. The very late RNS on Friday afternoon was a cock up! I have received email from SRT explaining the situation as follows: Firstly, thank you taking the trouble to get in touchand for entrusting us with your investment and As I hope you recognise we try very hard to keep our shareholders informed about their business and don't partake in the typically over managed PR of many companies. We say things how they are. Unfortunately sometimes mistakes are made and today is one of those times. Someone in our broker accidentally pressed the wrong button resulting in the results coming out this afternoon. Whilst certainly irritating and not as planned, it doesn't change anything in regard to our business and are, as you would expect, exactly the same as was issued in our trading update shortly after the period end all of which show how well our business is now starting to perform. Yep looks pretty solid here. We were almost on ths same flightpath!! On the back of low oil prices, bought into Flyb a couple of weeks ago but sold out just a few days ago after bad results to be all square overall. Now on the up after Directors buying grrrr! Going to have put on the front of my gravestone "should have bought at...." and on the back "should have sold at....."

Yes Excellent results indeed. The group's pretax profit of GBP3.7 million for the six months to September 30, up from GBP554,000 the prior year, was boosted by the acquisition of Noble and Murray Payne in November last year, which it said contributed GBP2.4 million to trading period during the half year. In hindsight, wish I had bought more but I am 10% in profit. Been keeping some of my portfolio in cash, with the exception of a couple small buys in hur which so far has been the wrong call.

Watched it last night, less than 2 minutes worth!! ah well, at least Simon Tucker was promoting the business last week at the Investor show in Derby. Brief talk on new multiple projects with sizeable orders, to push up the revenue we are all keen to see.

We have fractionally finished about the current chart resistance of 382.7p Another rise tomorrow and I can see £4 very soon. IMO charts only really work during quiet periods, and are blown out of the window on release of news, good or bad.

Well that's been an excellent call. In actual fact if I had done the same I would be better off even with an average portfolio of 10 shares. Yes I have had a couple 100% plus returns but the investments have been less than 2k. But I am down approx. 35% with my next largest holding! However there are benefits to investing in different sectors, many of which can be cyclical, which can even out the bad performing shares! Yep the joint ventures have been good business for Segro. 382-384p appears to be the current resistant level. A move above this and I can see 400p being reached. October has been a good month for Segro and is just one of 3 shares in my portfolio of 10 to have recorded a rise last month!!

Yep, good news indeed. A summary below £1.9m in annualised net rent added. 149,000 square metres of existing space let in the quarter. Vacancy rate 6.2% for the period to the end of September, an improvement from 8.3% on the previous quarter £246m worth of acquisitions, £79m worth of disposals. £17m in annualised rent potential from its current development pipeline.

Certainly will do. I see Claire Spottiswoode is on board, she is also a non-exec chairman in one of my other stocks Flow which has done very well for me this year. I hope you did not buy into HUR, which has dropped somewhat since, like many other oil stocks. For that reason I am no longer going to suggest any stocks, however good they maybe.

Well you got me a little concerned here, when you considered bailing altogether! SGI is a solid well run company but the AIM market is more unpredictable than ever at the moment. However I am looking to top up further. The SP has bounced from the 245p weak support level. 235p is a much stronger support level and I have set a stop loss at just below that level.

Nothing to much to worry about, a 2 percent increase (approx.) in number of shares.

After bailing out on 4 stocks last week and cash in the account, perhaps trigger happy. Or an omen to invest after my recent visit to Jersey, the hotel I stayed in was just up the road from SGI's HQ. Only have 0.7k here at the moment and will see where this goes. Generally buy in 3-4 batches to even out any losses and my aim is to increase to about 2-3k Agree oil stocks have been battered recently but IMO buying opps now present themselves in HUR, IAE, IGAS, SOU etc. Could be some strong rebounds on these, only question is when.
