Pl040 is on the same major unconformity highlighted is alot of KCB geology maps that T3, the banana zone and Eland zone are on. Only a few weeks away max by my calcs of getting those first drill results back. This is what we have been waiting fo, for an entire year since we bought the PLs

I think soil sampling wasn't needed Ella as the AEM is better. Soil sampling seems to be the first thing you do to help see what you've got, bucket and spade job before spending X 1000's on a helicopter survey and drilling. We just skipped it out and no need to go back to it. Either that or it's just not worth telling us specifically it was done.

Surely investing is all about predicting sp movement? So we may be fools, but at least we are informed fools

Depends what you measure as success VB, 1% up is a success. Surely you don't believe that anyone on here believes to the degree that a rocket of sp is a foregone conclusion and need saving from that viewpoint? Or if there is anyone like that they would be an extreme minority to the point you can assume negligible when trying to make conversation with the vast majority. Otherwise every statement we make would have to be watered down so much to cater for everyone that the point for what you are trying to say would be lost.

However if you think the probably of the sp in the short is to reduce more than it is to gain then it would be good tonhavw some context of why, I.e reduce by how much and when. I have stated why I think the sp will go up and when. So my statement is easier to pick holes in than yours as iv said my justification etc. Yours is a sweeping statement with no justification. "The sp could go down short term then back up long term" not very useful for anyone to use that info valuable really

Just debate Billy, people have their own agendas for posting on here :-).......we have risen....what 30-35% in a few days on anticipation of drill results in a month. Some people may be happy with that sell and want the price to go down buy back In again for the results to bring it back up......rinse.....repeat. I'd guess more often than not what people say indicated the direction they want the sp to go. No one owns their own business and then stands out the front of it shouting how bad it is at their own expense. It's just the name of the game.

Anyway about big investors. They are here. On a world stage the kcb is having 100's of millions pumped into it. Sandfires expansion project cost £260m, banks are queuing up to loam them money (the article I posted yesterday shows this). On a relative scale relation to us, big investors are here as CB used them to raise the 900k needed last year to buy the kcb. The rest I can't say any better than what Oiltap put. Some people focus on the small negatives and don't take into account the bugger picture. The question is, how much dowe really think news of starting a driling campaign is really worth? 35% isn't bad. This may bobble about for abit and then closer to results time it will pick back up again. Rarely is any increase linear. We've just had 5 months of nothing. Another month isn't long to wait :-).

Is that because you think we need the cash Ella? Or because you've sold today and want back in at a lower price. At least leave it 1 day between saying you are selling and then dropping the P word

I think you're right Phoenix & Oiltap, break 2p today and then re rate on up to the SF valuation of 2.6 not long ago. News drops of drill results while we've got upward momentum and off we go

Some decent buys coming in Friday PM, people wanting to get in before close of play. That's a good indicator of incentive so hopefully we will continue our steady up tomorrow which should set the pace for the rest if the week IMO. Sandfire believe in us to the tune of 2.6p, so.why shouldn't the rest of the market.....at least.

Here's an interesting article, suggesting that SF's soon to be operational mine producing €1bn in cash profit over its life time, will reflect in the sp of the current share holders of SF. Example Metal tiger, who by maths could see €30m.......their SP was up 20% on Friday. we also own shares in SF.

The article also re iterates the huge opportunity that a relationship with a major on the KCB really is....... something we also have with SF.

Copper hitting a 10 year high last week, world demand surpassing production of copper so new resources are being frantically sought out.

True C7, first few holes are for calibration.......but what about the last few holes of the 2.5k metres we are drilling :-), exciting times!

SF paid 2.6, that wasn't for no reason..1.8 is a good price, i personally am still accumulating. We will likely reach that height again as a major has justified it. Slow and steady is the game, once people wee this isn't just a trading spike but a serious re rate upwards that has staying power like today.. Still up despite heavy trading.....confidence will build. MMs will let this go.

Less than 2 weeks we will be seeing them coper filled drill cores. Once we see copper in those cores this sp will not reduce, so 2 weeks to accumulate. Copper or bot copper is the gamble. But anyone who has done decent research knows the chances of copper.......in a copper bull market. U can't get better than this. Go for broke, life changing gains coming

I definitely wouldn't rule it out Billy. Copper is the new gold so we could quite possibly get that sort of interest with the assets we have on the KCB, and then our others prospects ontop that Funky has just listed :-)

My estimate was more a steady state sp answer, there will be peaks and troughs along the way

Evening All, some good news for us today. I'm still picking my way through it and digesting a little. Great post C7 thankyou! Remembering how kavango was and the market reaction to that starting drilling in terms of reflection on 9ts SP, (I.e doubling), also how we are in a copper bull market and people looking for the next multi bag opportunity after xtr, I imagine there is going to be some interest in us now. Drilling starting people will be on tenterhooks waiting for that first core sample report, bringing excitment, increase in sentiment etc

How early do you want to get in, while we are still cheap? Or further down the line when it's safer. Let's hope people, and rightly so get in early. I continue to accumulate as much as I can at this low level

NorthernBoy, coincidentally I saw a screenshot on my phone earlier of 12 months ago to the day, and we were at 0.81p. Even 6 months ago we hit 2.7p on an intra day.

Given we get a mid/high range income from SZ later this quarter and then onwards, SF give word of starting exploration on their PL of which in 2 years could give a max £80m and our own PLs we are now exploring who knows what the max SP could be. That's not even mentioning Glenover, ka****u and Ferber.

I'm gunna go in 12months £60m mcap 3-4 x today approx. Then same again 12 months after that......why not

As you've said in the past Oiltap, CB has played a blinder here getting in early. It turns out pretty much about as early as you can get, it's only a year later that the rest of thenworld is waking up to copper demand and the huge resource the KCB has. Imagine what sort of buzz about the place there will be in another 12 months. All we need is abit of patience and let the world catch up with us

That's a great video Castiron, SF makes no secret of its intentions to expand its already large 27000sqkm holding on the KCB, quoting they want several T3 type assets and to hold the strategic locations on the kcb for future leverage. ......ad say our remaining approx 9-10k sqkm has some of those in it. That's just 5mins into the video. Bring it on!

When Kavango was at a similar stage as us it pretty much doubled in price with its exploration on KSV, admittedly it was alot better at releasing the info and at smaller stages in the process.....however we aren't Kavango so live with it or move on I suppose.

Anyway, hopefully our release of AEM surveys and start of drill news and subsequent release of info will do a similar thing for us. However whats different is 12 months later, we are In a copper bull market, people have seen the boom that companies with copper related assets have on good drill results. Xtr for example multi bagging. People are on the look out for the next xtr, copper is the new gold. Once we let the market know we are drilling my prediction is a huge influx of attention with a calculated gamble on good core results, then that will escalate further when we start infill drilling . I'm hoping for alot of excitment on the daily volume and even getting the day traders back to bring back that churn.

I think you're right Oiltap, it wouldn't surprise me about an incremental influx of sandfire cash as well as we progress. When drilling starts maybe a few more shares bought, when results back a few more shares bought all the way until they were that 15% threshold for a board member and the cash also funding our exploration

There's some quite interesting chat going on over at BZT at the moment in relation to peer comparison with GGP. This has also spilled onto the GGP board a small amount too. GGp was a company in the early days (for me at least) 18 months ago I used as a peer comparison to us......i was invested in GGP at 7p and sold at 8 ish to invest in GLR (never mind ha). So over view all companies that done each their own money yet, have asset in the ground, etc etc

Anyway

What has been mentioned several times on both boards is how important it is to be in he'd with a major to be successful (I'm not saying it's impossible if you arent). So GGP is successful as it is in bed with a major, its asset is geographically close close to a processing plant, its home government needs the income to keep up its industry to name a few things. Bzt is sat on 2Mt contained copper in the phillipines but no major and not close to any processing plant so a debate ongoing ad to how it will use that huge asset wisely and gain value (side story alot of hype going at the mo on twitter and bbs etc)......what's rather comforting though is that GLR tick all those 3 common boxes that GGP has that contributed towards making it successful. Huge asset, in bed with a major (sandfire), we are right next to their new processing plant and as a back up CCC's, and in the link I have just post on this thread the president of botswana himself has been quoted about how the mining sector will create jobs, and the country has invested in mains power in the area to facilitate all that.

This is going to get really interesting throughout the course of this year, especially with drilling to start imminently
