Interestingly, the BARC Daily is mirroring the Dow’s behaviour: the 20MA has crossed below the 200MA, the 200MA is beginning to flatten, and price remains below both the 20MA and 200MA. Any attempts to move above these levels are consistently rejected or lack strength, signalling bearish momentum. This pattern is typical of a market where the 200-day moving average has shifted from acting as support to serving as resistance, and it is generally indicative of a long-term downtrend.

As for the Death Cross signal, confirmation on the BARC daily, I’ve pencilled in 6th April; however once the Troops land things may well escalate, very anxious weekend ahead…,

On the DOW daily, 20MA /200ma Cross over, and you don’t need the Death cross, 50MA 200MA crossover, to act as it is lagging confirmation.

What we already have is the price below 50DMA, 200DMA, Momentum down so that’s functionally bearish already.

ignore the noise, and ask yourself Is price below 200DMA? Yes, bearish bias, “Are rallies failing below 50DMA?” Yes, trend continuation. The Death Cross is not the signal it’s the confirmation. The real tradeable moment is happening now, around the 200DMA. As for TACO, well the only regime he’ll to be taken out is the Bulls, we are in phase1 of a Bear market.

"Sell the rally" replaces “buy the dip”. Bounces look strong, but fail quickly, Lower highs start forming. Sentiment is still mixed (this is key), No full-on panic yet, many still calling for a rebound. News flow often mentions “correction, not a bear market” and that’s why this phase is often underestimated.

Not looking as strong on the daily, 20ma 50ma crossover, 25th Feb, Bearish signal. Also on the currently trajectory it’s possible to envisage a 50ma 200ma “Death Cross”, crossover.

While the 20/50 cross is excellent for short-to-medium-term (swing) trading, it is different from the "Death Cross" (50/200-day), which is a longer-term, more significant bearish indicator.

One more shock to the markets and this will happen quickly, in fact before one realises 350’s will be in the rear-view mirror …

Obviously the markets needs positive news or this decline will continue…

400m barrels, globally this amount can be used up in 4 days, and yet it takes 20 days to ship this amount via the Hormuz Strait, which is food for thought. The other chokehold is the “Gate of Tears",...
