I suppose with the endless political diabolic PI’s will be selling stocks ‘n’ shares due to the impending recession, house price collapse, ISA robbery, looming Dick Turpin style Tax, global uncertainty. We are getting bent over daily and what to do with savings, cash is becoming less obvious and more of a chore, sitting on hands come to mind. Bring on the impending crash thats been kicked down the road some many times,

I would say up the limit on Stocks 'n ' Shares ISA, and keep the Cash ISA at the current level, this would be a more sensible approach.

Lloyds has been and will no doubt continue to be a monster of a bank, but as we have seen Lloy does like a challenge and it can be punished by the markets, and in extreme circumstances will stop dividends.

Like I stated, “I suppose PI’s, shareholders, the market are awaiting the outcome of the Supreme Court case that will likely decide what kinds of cases are covered”.

I very much doubt the markets will look at this as a positive and the SP will tank. Also on the surface the provisions may well look like Lloyd’s have it in hand, although as I stated I very much doubt the provisions set aside will begin to cover the worst-case scenario.

I don’t think Labour trying to influence the court helped at all…

I do, wonder if the decision goes against lloy, will Lloyds stop the return of faulty goods, aka the buybacks. It will be interesting to see if the provisions set aside is enough, based on history I suspect not; however, again, it all hinges on the decision.

It will also be interesting to see if the decision favours Lloy if the SP is kept in this tight range for the sake of the buybacks or it’s let of it’s leash and hit £…….

The Bank of England (BoE) did not lower interest rates, doing so could risk further fueling inflation. The global economic outlook is too uncertain and while lower rates generally stimulate the economy, the BoE needs to balance that against the need to keep inflation under control and manage potential risks from global events. lots going on at the moment, and i would normally be the first to agree but in this case i think it's right.

If starmer declares the fact they we, the UK, will assist the USA and Isreal then hey all bets are off.
