RE: UK 'jobs crisis' is underway, recruiters warn8 Jul 2020 13:37
companies from LEVIS, Transport giant "First" are either shredding jobs or are about to collapse. The hospitality sector is being crucified .... when Furlough and other schemes stop the unemployment figures will climb fast there is talk already of 3 million and I think they can add to that..
SC , No Deal is almost nailed on, as for others leaving there was a time when the UK wasn't leaving even when the referendum came about the powers that be at the time certainly did not think it possible......
UK 'jobs crisis' is underway, recruiters warn8 Jul 2020 12:52
The collapse in Britain's labour market eased only slightly last month, according to a survey on Wednesday from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) industry body which warns that a "jobs crisis" is underway.
SC news of a deal would lift the stocks, ukx.l etc but i am thinking this is all smoke and mirrors No Deal had always been on tables since the PM May deal was rejected. EU is a white elephant and i would not rule out others to follow in the coming years...
exas reported more than 10,000 additional Covid-19 cases Tuesday, a record-breaking daily surge in cases as the state responds to a growing outbreak and an increase in hospitalizations.
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission reported 10,028 new cases, which surpasses the state’s previous record of nearly 8,260 cases set on July 4.
There were 9,268 people in the state’s hospitals with Covid-19 as of Tuesday, another daily record. Public health experts watch hospitalizations closely because it can indicate how severe an outbreak is in an area. It’s considered a better measure than new cases because it’s not as reliant on the availability of testing.
The state has also reported a jump in the percentage of total test returning positive since mid-June, now hovering around 13.5% on average as of Monday. Gov. Greg Abbott has previously noted that a positivity rate above 10% would be a warning flag for the state.
