So employers make redundancies to make way for the scheme....or will employers who do cut staff be exempt from the scheme.....

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has reassured recently-elected Tory MPs there will not be a "horror show of tax rises with no end in sight", as the government deals with the costs of coronavirus.

He urged the 2019 Conservative intake to show trust to overcome the "short-term challenges" the party faces.

Some MPs have expressed fears U-turns are hurting the government's standing.

Mr Sunak accidentally revealed the wording of his statement while holding his notes outside 11 Downing Street.

Bank of England governor Andrew Bailey has said the UK economy could fare worse than the BoE predicted in August, stressing that high levels of consumer caution or disruptive economic “restructuring” could cause “scarring”.

Appearing before MPs, Bailey also said that the Bank now thought inflation would not dip into negative territory in August as originally predicted, because firms had not passed on government VAT cuts as much as expected.

Bailey and his fellow BoE monetary policy committee (MPC) members were up in front of parliament’s Treasury Committee.

Hollybean, this needs a few coats of looking at....one has to factor in a consolidation..

yes good call, however i the SP creating new lows and as the SP continues to fall it will attract shorts....
i'm not saying you cant trade it far from it, it will be traded, housewives favourite until a massive consolidation is announced...

The retrace will continue and the pace will pick up....

Patrao1, not a good signal if the SP hangs around at these levels, it needs to challenge the gap down created today and close at least @ 29pennies to break the this downward trend....
If the chart produces another Gap Down @the open then the SP will create new low....
good luck....

One has to ask ones self if some individuals experiences of C-19 are indeed genuine....
i do wonder and i suspect others do too.....
