if companies, individuals are not able to repay the loans regardless if they are Govt backed then that is a failed business....and will have consequences as this will be a Lloyds client....

and as you can imagine Lloy being the UK largest domestic lender will no doubt have the lions share of ???bn impairments due to defaults, fraud etc....

yes however if they do default then surely that a customer gone to the wall also lots of them will have staff, etc, all gone; therefore the knock on effect is bad all round...

So you admit you are just gambling with monies you can afford to lose....whereas some PI's are investing with monies they may well not be able to afford to lose...so like i quoted Spread bets and CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 75% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading spread bets and CFDs....

Covid: Lower jab take-up by BAME health staff 'a concern'.......
Lower proportions of black and Asian staff at a hospital trust have come forward to have a Covid-19 vaccine, according to a study.

The analysis found 70.9% of white staff at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust had received the jab, compared with 58.5% of South Asian staff and 36.8% of black staff.

This could have "major implications" for vaccine roll-out, the report said.

A union said it was important to understand "any reasons for hesitancy".

Boris Johnson rejects pleas to speed up lockdown easing— ‘way out must be cautious but irreversible’..

Boris Johnson has rebuffed demands from Conservative MPs to speed up the end of lockdown laws by saying that the way out will be “cautious but irreversible”.

The Prime Minister ruled that infections must be “really, really low” before easing restrictions or there would be a greater risk of new mutations of Covid-19 breaking out.

He said that he hoped all schools will go back from March 8.

Speaking during a visit to the Orpington Health and Wellbeing Centre in south-east London, Mr Johnson insisted: “No decisions have been taken on that sort of detail yet, though clearly schools on March 8 has for a long time been a priority of the Government and of families up and down the country.

“We will do everything we can to make that happen but we’ve got to keep looking at the data. We’ve got to keep looking at the rates of infections, don’t forget they’re still very high, still 23,000 or so Covid patients in the NHS, more than in the April peak last year, still sadly too many people dying of this disease.
