This share will multibag. It's just a matter of time. Either when California votes to legalise sports betting, in 2022, or they are taken out by a large suitor (could be anytime). Happy to be patience for the big one and watch the peaks and troughs. Hopefully it will hold above 2.2 (would prefer 2.5) and this will be the new low. Patience is required at WEB

Agree that they must be struggling cash wise now. Placing must be on the cards, Managed to get out with a profit after the last debacle (didn't like the change to the original terms with the $2.5 million deposit reduced from $10 million). Potential is immense but timing will be everything here.

WatchandWager recently renewed pari-mutuel wagering licenses to accept wagers from residents of New York and Washington, and the Company is currently in the process of renewing its key licenses in Kentucky.

Although I would love to be wrong I doubt this is a FULL sports betting licence.

I personally think the market in concerned over the financial security of Ascendant.
In my mind I have Redcorp valued at $6.3 million (approx £4.83 million) which is higher than the current Market Cap but it's only as secure as Ascendant. I reckon they have around £900k in ETF's and Barrack shares.

I think I have my head around that. A lot depends on the financial security of Ascendant Resources. I notice from their recent results that had to declare a going concern statement and the initial payment terms have changed (i.e. been rescheduled, highlighting cash flow issues). they did raise 1.26 million CAD in October but this is no where near enough to fund the project. Also if we received $1.65 million of Ascendant shares in July 2020 these are now worth $2.4 million.

My mind says this is a sound investment by why doesn't the market think so?

The reports don't actually list the actual investments and their current valuation. It does give an overall view of the company listing its major investments ( no historical or current valuation given).

it seems it will be a case of going through the RNS's . For instance how many Barrack Gold shares does the company hold?

Been going through the website and the reports. I have a few mining companies investments and have just sold a reasonable holding in Alamos Gold and I'm looking for a home for it. It would be a long term investment and the potential looks very good here, however It would be good to know what the make up of the £5.474 million is.

Noted a comment on the release 30/11/20 about Cerrado Gold - Additionally, it has initiated a reverse
takeover of a publicly listed entity on the TSX called BB1 Acquisitions Corp., which is expected to be completed in
November 2020, with the key result being that Cerrado will become a publicly listed gold company.

I take it this hasn't happened yet. Any ideas when it is expected? Read a post saying we made an investment of $270,000 which maybe worth $1 million on listing. Are these figures correct.

Where can I find the latest list of investments the company have and the valuations they put against these investments.
I'm looking to invest and my initial findings is that the investment in Redcorp Empreedimentos Mineiros LDA is worth more than the current market cap of MAFL

This share is a long term investment , and the key (as to all shares) is managing to buy at the best entry point. In the RNS it says :-
At time of writing we expect sports betting to be legalized for those with a physical presence in the State (California) by 2022, with a go-live date in 2023.

I currently hold 800,000 shares and my strategy has been to add as I make profits from other investments. I think this is still the best way forward for a big payday in 2022. If it comes sooner then happy days

We also need to look to the future, and we are very aware that USA regulated gaming is seen as a very relevant subject at present in global gaming space. The likely acquisition of William Hill by a US based corporation is clear evidence of that, and we expect this trend to continue. In relation to that we have hired a leading gaming consultant to look at merger and acquisition opportunities with a natural fit to our business, most likely in the USA. We will keep shareholders informed of any significant developments.

I also think this is a 2022 share - tuck away in the bottom drawer for now and add whenever you can on the dips. The problem now is , where or what is a dip especially if it holds some of the rise without news.

Webis is my bet for 2022 - accumulating as I go from other investment profits (Hopefully). Happy to be proved wrong and cash in early !!!!

Not bothered about daily movements as I'm in the lucky position to have doubled my money and still be sat with 100,000 of these bad boys. I'm leaving these for at least 12 months and see where we stand then.
