Bought these at 24.6 last November then told my mate. who is very high up in renewables, about this great company I had found. He told me to sell immediately as tidal power was far too expensive for anyone to make money out of. Luckily I did nine days later at 23.2. Needless to say I'll be buying him a very big drink at the weekend

I'm currently trading BP on CFD's. Buying below 295 and selling above 300. Last 3 trades have (since 23rd August) have netted £445. Opened another this morning at 294.85. It relieves the boredom

TB is an absolute genius. Over the past 4-5 mths he sells 3.33 million shares for £1766592 on the open market , then issues himself with 8 million shares for £1400000 and the share price rises by 20%.

In my humble opinion the peak has already occurred and the only way is down in the short term. As a business so reliant on China , are their political decisions, it's not an investment for me. I went short at 6094 ( a tad too early) and will come out before the ex div date

Share goes ex div on the 12th. It is my belief that, on that day, the price will drop by approx twice the dividend. So if I'm correct in my assumption and the price remains stable until the ex div date you should be able to buy in at around £52.50 next week

I want to believe that the process can work commercially but I have to say the delay on getting the first plant up and running is a cause for concern, lack of action by Peel and ultimately PHE. I'm out with a reasonable profit but really wish I had got out when Yeo got involved - leopard changing its spots etc.

I will be back (or hope to be) in 12 months time as I'm sure I'll get in at the same price (or less) and the money can be used elsewhere to grow. All the best

Well looks like that was the right decision.

Just added another 120k shares now sitting on 1.6 million. I'll either be a very rich man next year or I'll have to get of my butt and get a job. Let's hope its the first one of those options

The group needs 55% occupancy levels in order to break even. Pent-up demand is expected to unleash a staycation boom in the UK this summer, which will benefit primarily around 15% of Whitbread's portfolio. We got a preview of what summer staycation demand looks like when restrictions were lifted last year, and it was barely enough to cover costs. Occupancy was 51% in August and 58% in September. Ultimately the group needs sporting events, weddings and business travel to resume in earnest before a recovery will be on the cards.

Yesterday - for every 0.1 of a penny Rambler went up - Webis went down. Today its the other way around. Portfolio staying static. Don't you just love investing

Recent discussions with a friend of mine on the deployment of hydrogen into the energy supply highlighted the cost of transportation and storage as being the limiting factor to easy take up. Local plants supplying buses and Council vehicles is a great start but a lot of thought has to go into how the country builds the right infrastructure to support hydrogen usage on a national scale.

That's been my target for a while now - Have 1.2 million of these at an average of 1.8p and unlike any other share I'm not going to sell ANY until my target is reached or they are acquired - which ever is soonest.

I have to admit I don't approve of some of TB's decisions but you cannot get away from the facts.

Braveheart Investments (name is key) were 10.5p per share this time last year. At this minute you can sell for 91.1p and they've paid a 40p special dividend. You have to say no a bad investment.

They will not take this test to market - they are an investment company.

Hmm - where to invest? A me to Europeans betting site, losing millions of Euros or a profitable company with valuable licences in the US?

This has to be a long term hold. You can play the spikes and dips but sooner or later you will miss out on the big one. It can happen anytime but will definitely happen in 2022
