Like many AIM shares (especially Oil AIM shares) its like betting on the 2.00 Lingfield but with less information.

You have to get in at 'rock' bottom to stand the remotest of chances of making a profit. Is it 0.12 or is it 0.06 - I don't have a clue.

I've been sitting on the fence here since yesterday afternoon. The thing that interests me was the comment in the RNS that says
A large international offshore service provider approached COPL to bid for the appraisal wells. Discussions are ongoing.
My worry is the RNS issued on the 16th October 2018 - headed - Update on Disagreement between ShoreCan and Essar Mauritius.
Closing comment
Arthur Millholland, President and CEO, commented: "As previously stated, we are frustrated with the claims being brought forward by Essar Mauritius, but ShoreCan remains of the view that the allegations brought forward by Essar Mauritius are without foundation or merit. We continue to press ahead with our OPL226 project and we will provide further updates in due course."

I can't see any updates on this disagreement

Lost £741.70 on UKOG in 2014 but actually made £150.86 on JLP in 2016.
Only AIM share I currently hold is ZTF and that's only because I operate in the field they do. That's doing quite nicely in my SIPP, so the moral of the sorry is to stick with what you know and let the others speculate.

Why do people do that?

So if held in Kazakhstan it is now 19;30 hrs , so someone might know the outcome already

Most of their business is in Europe so they will also benefit from the drop in Euro however will there be a tariff put on their foam making cheaper EU manufactured foam more competitive? Also delays, allegedly, in getting the US up and running so maybe they will fall further. Overall they have a great product but the worry is how will they fill the capacity created in their UK operation by opening the facility in the States - reduce prices, and therefore margins?

Very observant - looks like we will have to wait for news of a JV, or sale of Woodstock before we get the returns we deserve. Missed selling on the last big spike when shares were suspended and may have missed out today as well.

I could have done without this today - looking at a £4k paper loss on this in my SIPP, so I will just have to leave it and see. May have to give up this investment malarkey as all I seem to do is lose money.

At 1.3 it would be nice to get back my 2014 loss of £2.6k

I bailed out in december and crystallised a £2.5k loss (would be £3.4k at todays price). I think the potential here is massive however they are too quiet for AIM so no-one pays attention to them. At the end of Sept 2014 they had $6.8 million in cash so if evrything remained equal they burned $1million in cash between 1/7/14 an30/9/14 so assume another $1 million gone - cash is around $5.88 - very basic calculation. should have got back in at 1p and left alone but you always think there is money to be made quicker elsewhere. Hope everything gets back to a decent level where you are on an even keel

I know a lot of people on these boards despise Trv's approach - I for one have been brought up under the adage if you don't have anything good to say then don't say it, so I don't get involved in petty bickering. What I will say is unfortunately he seems to be right about this.

Was looking at this board and here you are again being positive, unfortunately I agree with you here, Directors converting loans (which the company probably can't pay) into shares at a price higher than it stood - why would you do that? What share are you positive about today then?
