HSBC managed to sort out my SSISA ABOUT 3:00pm this afternoon. Bed and ISA’d d approx 3:30pm….188,615 shares sold at 10.61p/share and 186,978 shares bought back about 5 minutes later at 10.69p/ share. Has cost me roughly £165 but at least I can now relax…..all squirrelled away for this year, now bring on the news!

Ps….both my sell and buy trade not showing on the system???

Not until your Stocks and shares ISA, is in place you can’t…I applied yesterday with HSBC, phoned this morning at 7.30 to set in place bed and isa and was told it could take up to 48 hours before ISA is in place before bedding, although they may be able to fast track it!. Got to keep checking my dashboard for the rest of the day to see whether they’ve put it in place! Don’t know whether all brokers are the same?

I think you’ll find there’ll be as many £20k sells come Monday due to GGPers having already parked up their funds in their Investment Accounts ready to bed and ISA. It’s what we do with the remainder imo due to the problem with CGT. Anyone any hints on any way round it ? lol. Nice position for some to be in!

Day in, day out, the share trades list shows very low amounts of buys and sells. Surely, these cannot be actual transactions if you figure in the trading cost, it just doesn’t make sense? I’ve counted 13 transactions this morning, all under £15. Are these bots making adjustments or is there another valid reason? Thanks in anticipation!
