I don't understand these single or two share trades. I hope someone can help me to understand. Doesn't the commission cost as much or more as a single share trade? And thus make it cost twice as much to buy one share?
Sorry I'm such a newbie.
"Thanks Tom, wished you'd have mentioned this earlier......"
Now there's a good giggle.
Thanks.

maybe he is paid to downplay the stock? and this is all he has
"Do you think the ceo would of put in £85k if he didn't know the diamonds were there?"
There are a number of possible reasons he would put in £85k even if he thought the diamonds were not there, and there are a number of possible reasons he would put in £££ if he knew they were there.
£85K isn't that much for him, he's got a lot more already invested in this stock, and has £millions elsewhere.
When Microsoft was being sued by the US government for being (possibly) a monopoly, they were being fined $1million per day. Which is massive! except that when you understood how much Bill Gates was worth, $1million to him was like $0.05 to you if you had $250K in the bank. So for him, $1million per day was cheap advertising.

a lot of time and effort goes into quarterly reports
I doubt anyone in the office(s) have been focused on much else since the court case settled
Relax, this stock isn't falling as fast as the rest of the stock market

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:
Vast Resources PLC - mining company with projects in Romania and Zimbabwe - Says technical programme report has been received for Baita Plai project, which sets out the plan for a drilling programme. Notes that 15,870 metres of drilling planned across 59 locations, with 10,890 metres planned at Baia Rosie, and 4,980 metres at Antonio. Says the programme will give potential to extend Antonio ore zone, and open Baia Rosie as a new mining area. "The receipt of the recommendations and conclusions of the Report is an important step in potentially extending the mining area at Baita Plai from its existing base and creating a much enlarged Mineral Resource," Chief Executive Andrew Prelea comments.
assets and performance?
Do Your Own Research
were you actually going to trust what you read on the discussion board?
really?
But here's a list of questions to investigate:
What is coming out of Romania?
What is the size of the mine in Zimbabwe?
How many carets were being produced from that mine prior to operations being suspended / shut down?
What percentage of the diamonds from that mine will belong to Vast?
What is the average value per caret from that mine in Zimbabwe?
What is the value of the 129k caret parcel of diamonds? using the average value per caret as a conservative value
Answer those questions and you'll know the current value of the company.
But do not rely on anything you read here.
There is a lot more mouth than money on discussion boards.
A guess?
The market cap is currently about 1/3 of what it should be just based on company assets and existing performance, prior to the value of the diamonds that have recently been legally released and the value of the mining in Zimbabwe.
Therefore, it should be trading at 1.80 today, but it's not.
So at a guess, next year it will be trading somewhere between .60 and 6.00
I put sarcasm tags around that post but it removed them
Well, he was certainly inspiring.

Kimberley Process: Zimbabwe diamond exports approved
they aren't sells
they are the clearings
during normal trading the sells are not matched directly with buys
rather the "member" on the market floor, or the automated traders, will sell stock they don't have, and buy it back later, and vice versa, the unknown's of large even numbers are normally those clearings
The clearings are multiple 10m's vs 3m's last week
I don’t know.
I think that few will read and understand the full runs.
Rather they will just see .55 and that the sp is .65
£21m in assets
£16m in debt
£16m in diamonds (I doubt they didn't get them insured when they went into the bank's custody)
a mine in Zimbabwe that will product 16m carets of diamonds at £50 per caret
plus mines in Romania that are producing (not well, but at least they are producing)
and the market cap is £15m
meanwhile tesla is worth a small fraction of it's market cap
argh, frustrating
