Think about it, if you have something you own 100% and you can drill more wells to increase production then why would you put all the work in to tie back in LC for 5000 bopd ? Makes financial sense to focus on Lancaster doesn't it rather than expend all the extra cash resources on 5000bopd 50% owned... must have been a mutual decision which was win win for both parties.. if there was a water cut issue I hardly think Hur would want to drill more wells in field with high water cut issue right??? Or is my thinking not logical? Happy for someone to prove me wrong ad counter argue against me

Sprucegoose I was just looking at a logical perspective about the whole water cut argument and one other poster said that because Centrica had poor results they must have forced spirit not to pursue the LC well, I said that they would have had a robust water tight legal framework in place and Spirit would have had to honour the tie back to the fpso from LC regardless if Centrica didn't want to waste more money on it...my point was that if Hur demanded to to tie back the LC to the FPSO then Spirit would have had to do it... but the fact that Hur agreed to put it on hold proves that there is no issue with Lancaster... surly if there was a drop in Lancaster or water cut issue you would want to tie back the LC too make up for any bad news coming relating to the water cut issue and also to make up for the shortfall from Lancaster right ?

1. You would move robustly to tie in the LC well to make up the shortfall from Lancater

2. The shipments would be disrupted and would not move on the normal approx schedule

3 Dr T would not have said in his previous rns that they can't understand why the share price has dropped and then only to come out on CMD to say oh there is a water cut issue and then it would be obvious that certain shorter would have had the inside knowledge...

So argument was just based on logic Colombo, sherlock Poirot detective work...

I guess this will rumble on till March CMD day.

Even after if the price moves up higher then the vultures will still keep knocking it..

I will say it again, if there was a watercut issue then Hur would have moved forward and tied in Lincoln Crystal well to the FPSO, the fact that my post based on logic and rational thinking was removed just shows you that Hur is on purpose being targeted by those who wish to hammer the price down. I also stated that if there was a watercut problem how can Hur continue to ship 20bopd and 3 million boo since May 2019 ? Where does all this water go ? Who drinks it all ? Surely there must be a slow down in the shipping of oil to port if there was a watercut issue.
