quoting a resource ISNT a feasibility study, its not even a CPR Jorc, its a company statement as to how big the resource is, you then have to do some maths to see if its FEASIBLE to get it to market which they haven't done....

Guess what, Mt Ida will never be a project, not even a feasibility study 10 years on. and 9 years ago the feasibility study was shelved, because ...wait for it, the cost then to get it our of the ground were too high, and guess what costs have tripled since and the price of iron ore is less than is was in 2013... so royalty is meaningless and worthless.

News.... 40% aretighly held.... that only leaves 720 million shares to be free to trade then, you interpret that as tight do you?

Hey helpful thanks for your comment about being uninformed, and running an down , in ten years he has taken the share price from 3p to today's equivalent price in those terms to 1 50th of a penny, he doesn't need me to run him down he's down a pretty good job himself, as for the costs, I didn't say they were relevant to the royalty however they may be relevant if the costs to dig up the ore are more than the ore is worth. They will stop digging! Ergo no royalty! You must try to think things thru before you slabber

So Id say that royalty is worth less than a third of is value 10 years ago..

oh forgot to mention wages costs have doubled, freight costs have gone up 4 fold and machinery costs have tripled. now factor that in, the size of the resource is not that relevant, what is relevant is how much per year are they extracting ti get the cash flow. answer less than they did 10 years ago so the margins are lower, ie the price of ore is less and they are extracting less per year.. so the math

so in december 2015 RRR had 2.3 billion shares in issue, they did a consolidation of 25 : 1 so that brought it down to 200 million odd, today they have over 1.2 billion again, that's equivalent to 14 billion shares in old money.....when the share price was 14p there were under 400million shares in issue. that's means that the share price today would need to get to 350p to be the same....
