Imo although inflation is very real and growing the fact is the US and others cannot increase interrest rates due to their massive piles of debt so while stock prices are getting battered by the fear that rising inflation will lead to massive interrest rates the rates will not rise much and the wind will change back in our favour by year end or early 22 my guess.

By the Eqtec should be looking so much stronger my mouths watering : )

I wrote many times about feelings/fears of Bond yields and inflation being a strong head wind to all tech/growth/jam tmw stock prices.

At the time there was allot of debate whether the Henderson share sale was the main reason for the SP drop. I cannot say for sure which was a larger influence back in Feb and March but I think there can be no doubt now that it's inflation.

Of course no release of financial closures is giving the SP no reason to rise and were just bobbing up and down on market risk-on risk-off sentiment that is all inflation driven.

I'm holding all my great jam tmw stocks because the interrest rate fears will subside eventually and Eqtec will surely have to be announcing financial closures soon.

Of course I'm hoping Eqtecs positive news bombs will power the SP upwards regardless of market fears but I've resigned myself the possibility it may not happen for a long time.

If you sell your best stocks because the market winds are blowing against you you will regret it when the wind changes.

I can wait and I am.

That'll be most likely because their peers dropped loads compared to Eqtec lately so you'd expect a larger bounce of a deeper dip wouldn't you.?

I don't worry about daily this or even weekly that now but just saying anyway.

I think if no deals are done in next 6 months we'll nearly all be walking away. But I'm really not seeing that as a likely outcome.

Sure I did believe end of Feb was going to be the start of SP rise after rise but fundamentally nowt has changed for me, brilliant opportunity well worth risking some spare capital but patience is obviously needed.

Topped up as struggle to find a better prospect than here.

Ti's food for thought this dividend discussion, I also can't see excess profits for years from Eqtec as they will most likely be using earnings to further future projects progression.

My best guess is it'll take at least 5 or 6 years min after Billingham n Deeside etc are completed before they have sufficient funds to meet their project expansion/development costs and still have significant funds left over.

For instance they recently agreed I believe to a smaller profit share on the American project for 3 or so years in exchange for a much larger slice of the profits there after.

So no 20% profit share for 1st 3 years but maybe 30%+ there after.... If this is replicated then Eqtec will clearly be positioned for great profits in future and possibly dividends who knows but this would be way further down the line than the next couple of years imo.

Not worth it's own thread this but just wondering how strange IG says 5.25% up yet HL and here on LSE show 2.63% loss.... I believe the lower figure I just find it wierd its so out on IG.

Topped up @1.98 under 2p I had to grab some. RSI nigh on hitting the 30 line too so should hopefully be very near bottom of this particular dip...

So if we did give the future revenue predictions credence it says €104 million profit in a couple of years, if we guess a PE ratio of only 20 that gives us a market cap of over €2 Billion.
Not bad at all and especially as most here probably think it'll quite possibly be higher.

I never cease to be amazed by the lack of clarity/shenanigans in the numbers and greatly appreciate the explanations from those that seem to understand much more than myself.

Btw if I go on my IG account and look up market info on Eqtec it's says 2 brokers involved there and both rate it as STRONG BUY!!!
I never invest on brokers options alone but it is useful of course.

Assess not access is what I meant.

If Motley was advising me on low risk Equities I'd appreciate his standpoint but Motley is supposed to be able to access the riskier stocks too and allow the customer to choose their risk appetite.

A simplistic review that misses so much potential and the likely huge gains to come.

Having read the review now though id say it's a pretty fair reflection but only from his extremely limited perspective.
He clearly hasn't delved into the detail of the thousands of hours of running time Eqtec has achieved thus proving the technology at that scale, nor has he looked into the finances closely enough that mean Eqtec are extremely unlikely to be requiring future hand outs to keep the lights on.

If he was my stock adviser I'd be disappointed that while recognising some likely success he's only scraped the surface of the potential and over egged the potential risks, nowhere near in depth enough and therfore has come to what most investors here would agree is a lazy and incorrect conclusion.

I did check the Fools out and while they are able to spot obvious market trends eg vaccine rollout success = stuff will open, they seemed to just focus on sucking you in to pay for real advice.

They seem to suck for sure.
