LOL, love the chap EOOP, his spelling is not worth sh*t but its funny. He does sound like all those scammers from Asia and/or Africa. "You have inherited 100 million from your great great grand Uncle", LOL, LOL. Believe it or not but I still get these.
FYI ALL, when the shorter's go lazy or get worried about stock manipulation and they dont want to use their in-house people for negative comments, they usually outsource to others like him. Works the same way like buying good/bad reviews.
RunningMan
Sure, but would they do this if they thought that the shares would go down? They make much less money from lending then from stock movements up. So its a double win for them. They get money from shorters and they make money when the stock goes up.
There is something fishy about this "person" Happy. Some have already mentioned this previously but it would not surprise me if he worked for one of the big shorter's. Its a fact that they have people posting on active boards under made up accounts to try and turn the tide so it benefits them. I just cant see any private investor being so hell bent on trying to convince people that a stock will lose value. He has a tendency to use some valid information from time to time so that he doesn't lose credibility, but it always comes with a "But". Like Lemming posted they have -50 to -80million reasons to try to get this stock to drop in value.
Fellas, don't listen to him and if you read his posts try to parse the crap from the sometimes useful snippets of information, just ignore the "But".
Hold firm, the tax year is ending soon and the shorter's will want to close their positions to benefit from the tax loss and offset it against other gains. Meanwhile they will try their damndest to reduce those losses.
I think he was talking about the assets and that if the right offer was presented then they would consider it. This was part of the 1billion self help discussion + the fact Rahul said no further plans to sell assets unless the right offer came along. We shall see...
Thanks antharry. I was trying to find what upside there was for entering the FTSE250. What I find mysterious is how little noise there is about TLW entering the Index. Sure, it did happen last minute and not on their own merit but I would still have expected some more news.
Interesting read on Diversified Gas & Oil PLC (LON:DGOC) when they where confirmed to enter the FTSE250.
“We expect this event to trigger significant mandatory buying from index tracker funds which own somewhere between 10-15% of UK PLC freefloat - implying US$95-140m (66-99m shares) of incremental demand around the indexation event,” Mirabaud analyst Tim Hurst-Brown said in a note.

Hi All,
I have been following your discussions for the last month or so and I decided to sign up to most importantly thank you all. Had it not been for reading your posts I might have chickened out some time ago. I bought in at 23.5p as I have been following Tullow oil for some time. Well, thanks to your many fine posts, some good, some funny and yes some stupid I decided to HOOOOLD. Not often that you can double+ your money in a very short time so there you go. There is something to be said when there is a group of people who have a common goal and can share/express their opinions and thinking. I will keep on holding to these shares now for a long time as I can see some great upside here.
