I see its cost them £141 million to settle , and a different jurisdiction (Scottish law courts ) importantly they have managed to pay it off over 4 years . If petrofac could settle for 35 million a year for 4 years I'd take that to clear the slate.

I think its a smart move because a calm rational reaction from the market at 8.am opening because they've had 14 hrs to mull over the rational. Instead of having an hour in the morning where they're most likely just follow the heard.

This appears an orchestrated move by Cpi to To Sky to pre inform the market a bit like the budget leaks we get pre announcement ,obviously capita can't comment even though the info most likely was conveyed to a financial reporter at sky to create positive spin pre results, i think its a smart move to align investors and market makers of the positives going forward .

They own the majority stake its not a 10 yr contract unless I've read it wrong , on that basis you would assume its more than £50 million a year the government are saving but on average £50 million over the 10 years . If capita get an equal cut then I would assume going forward its worth £60 million a year profit . Now how much would someone
else give you for 60million a year I don't know .

I'd start by speaking English.

I expect its tough atm for retailers, I had already bought work clobber from debs closing down sale but looked in again when ragtrade mentioned and was very surprised that so many sizes were still available ( normally only size 6 or small available) .

What cash burn on Debenhams/ Burton , obviously going to incur costs to integrate into the group but would expect to see a major return on investment come Q3 - Q4

Apologies for the card chat, Dan what concerns me is card got in Deloitte to go look for cheap money , I note you flagged up other firms that have got cheap money with no stress test until June 22 ,but Card came away empty and have now had to go back cap in hand to their existing banks . I've taken profit at 58p ( bought at 34) and going to watch like a hawk , I think It can still go either way but if its greeted positively then they'll still be a couple of days of easy money. Dan your now flying blind on card which surprises me seeing as your a numbers man. You don't know if its going to be refinancing or share dilution has your girlfriend bought any cards to check on the quality?

I actually think m&s have finally got it right for what its worth , their mix of digital ,new store locations and new food halls are going very well.

Question Dan , you said boo are a dog of a share is that because share price performance, past mistakes or future direction . No agenda just interested to hear a negative side thats can inform my future thinking of boo's direction.
From my point of view I'm weighing up boo's rapid expansion versus traditional retailers migration to a digital presence, I don't think it will be long before every retailer has a user friendly online alternative with distribution to match. This ultimately will effect boohoo but not for the foreseeable future.
