Nice rise today.
Are we heading for news?
Jamesey,
That should read -Agreed! - no question marks.
Just imagine what a change in politics would do for the share price!

Sorry muck, hadn't noticed yesterday's post.

We have the resource below our feet.
Why not use it. And, while we do keep prices manageable while we research and develop newer greener technologies.
It is naive to think we can just walk away from fossil fuels. Look at India and China! Still mainly burning coal.
If energy supply becomes too tight, then that's the type of issue that can lead to unrest, and, yes, possibly war.

Jamesey, totally with you on all fronts.
However, see the below article, one of many on similar issues. We need to transition to carbon free. Not just stop. Get the Frack on and edge towards being more self sufficient.

Cheers Golden. Just asking.
Thanks Sasa.
I thought there was a sanction issue there.
But, If SQZ were able to purchase the licence (hopefully on the cheap) would that not release sanctions?
Or, I suppose, the purchase itself would be a breach?
Guys I'm not invested, but very keen sideline watcher. I read below about from Senseman:
'RNS says in next 6 WHOLE MONTHS ie start Feb - end July total, HUR may (on 31 July) have only +$8 mill cash - in other words that producing +9000 bpd at Brent +$80, in 6 clear months HUR can throw off only $8 mill profit'
From the RNS
"Given our current prediction of performance and assuming oil prices continue to be within the range experienced over the past month, we believe that post clearing our bond debt Hurricane will have between $8-38 million of net free cash at the end of July 2022.'
' post clearing our bond debt '
Doesn't that mean that by summer the company will be debt free, or am I on the wrong page?
Thanks in advance,
GLA

Why invest your capital if you don't want gains?
It's not my fault that the government and the NIMBYs stopped the like of fracking and on shore development.
If not producing enough ourselves, the government should have ensured that more gas was bought at lower prices in long term contracts. Instead of Spot market buying.
I am son of 'Mr and Mrs Miggins', I, like most on here work, each day to stay away from returning.
I am all for Mrs Miggins, but not at my personal expense. I leave that to the elected.
