Flava you maybe right, or you could wait till later on today/tomorrow check out the short position with the new FCA regs, gives a clearer picture on short positions.
Eye on OPEC, Oil price , new Director to be announced and interested in the RNS statement of key focus being to raise 1bn from portfolio management.....

Good Luck Thai and thanks by the way , after a bit of research after your comment Friday , I did the same with spare funds so still holding there 17p, got a way to go imo researching it in detail.

Good to see LEK increased volumes and SP, a bit of volume , outstanding RNS and increased sentiment could really get this moving back to pre funding levels.

As of yesterday reported short positions declaration is now 0.1% as opposed to 0.5% As per the FCA new regs (unless they find a loop hole)
So later on today we should start to see the real picture of who is short , increased visibility on the short positions <0.5%.
Plus see who has been reducing Friday , Monday
Interesting times .... end of play today will be clearer.
even if oil stabilised etc , remember the RNS raising 1bn via portfolio management which is worth how much to the current SP ?

Before you decide either way re read the RNS a few times , always worth it.

£965k late reported trade today should see tomorrow, weds wonder who it is , the others won’t want to be left holding the short not the way TLW is heading.
Rules have changed as of today on reporting short positions declaration now is down to 0.1% previously 0.5%, is my understanding.
Time will tell.

Thoughts , impact 1bn to current SP meaning a SP of ........

. Nevertheless, strengthening the balance sheet continues to be a key priority with the Group seeking to raise proceeds in excess of $1 billion through portfolio management.

The Group's underlying operating costs remain less than $12/bbl, with Ghana operating costs at c.$9/bbl. With the benefit of the Group's hedging policy and production remaining on track within the Group's 70-80 kbopd guidance range, this results in a free cash flow breakeven oil price of c.$35/bbl for the rest of the year.



Hedging

As outlined at Tullow's Full Year Results, the impact of reduced oil prices is mitigated by the Group's robust hedging strategy. Tullow has 60% of its 2020 sales revenue hedged with a floor of c.$57/bbl and 40% of 2021 sales revenue hedged with a floor of c.$53/bbl. Tullow's realised oil price in January and February 2020 was c.$62/bbl and following the recent price drop, hedging receipts of c.$30 million are forecast for March 2020

EZHIK, Just to ensure I am not misunderstood , I would certainly not endorse staff reductions , at this time a business continuity plan would be obviously key, so ’great‘ in terms of LEK believe they are in a position to navigate these tough times going forward.
Shame did not mention any BOD taking a pay reduction to support the GA costs, jobs etc or how they were going to achieve the reduction, guess annual report may reveal more.

LEK have a foundation now to build on this RNS, improving sentiment and updating the shareholders on the outstanding news (within allowed guidelines if in a closed period)
