In the case of Savannah, the prosecution says that Galamba intervened to "unduly interfere in the decision of entities such as the APA and the ICNF - Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests, which issued an "unfavourable opinion" on the mine in 2021 and later reversed it in 2023". The records state that this programme was coordinated between the president and vice-president of the APA (Nuno Lacasta and José Pimenta Machado) and two representatives of Savannah (João Barros and Diogo Silveira). In addition, the company negotiated with the Boticas City Council for the construction of a road "as compensation for not opposing lithium exploration".

Dale Ferguson, former CEO of Savannah, confirmed to Negócios the company's investment in this road this year: it will amount to 30 million euros for the construction of a direct access from the mine gate to the A24 motorway.
The Public Prosecutor's Office says that Galamba participated in the negotiations and that "Savannah officials had privileged access to those in charge of the APA, the DGEG (Directorate General of Energy and Geology) and the offices of the Ministers of Environment and Infrastructure to obtain illegitimate benefits".
