Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
We're sat right on the resistance point, we can't afford for volume to start drying up.
The journey here since these guys came on board has been impressive, it would be nice to have something to show for it, for us and them.
Hi Ed,
Thank you very much for your informative reply! I've been in the markets for 18 years (sigh) and sat through many drills. I don't recall ever witnessing a situation where a well didn't flow after getting positive results from the drill but I understand that it does happen. The drilling results were some of the best I've seen in a long time and the reason I've haven't sold a single share. News on the Mambare Nickel/Cobalt Interest would certainly bolster things in the interim, it looks like the 45 day period started on the 8th Dec after the General Meeting which means it's well overdue, unless I'm reading it wrong.
Thanks Ed for your informative posts, it is greatly appreciated.
A lot has been said about the possibilities here but in terms of COS based on what we already know are we able to represent this has a percentage? In your opinion what are the chances of these two wells producing any flow?
Apologies if this comes across has having a gun against your head, this is absolutely not intended.
Thanks again
Haythorpe took the sp from 1 to 0.2, other than that he did nothing. Queensland was already on the radar before he got involved. In my opinion he didn't have the time and was too commited elsewhere, the question was being asked very early one why somebody of his calibre would get involved with a junior explorer with no cash. We'll never know the answer but I'm guessing it was all about Hurricane. Anyway what's done is done, he's cost us all a fortune but hopefully provided us all with an opportunity.
I don't think the drop has anything to do with the release of the interview Mental, these guys haven't put a foot wrong since coming onboard and I don't think the market can expect anything more than what they've delivered. The drop is down to traders, or trader who has been playing the ranges for months.
MW and NT must be feeling pretty peed off at the moment, nothing but progress and good news and it's back at 0.22. Let's not forget that these guys are getting paid in shares, not that they'll be planning to sell anytime soon.
Any serious buyer would surely take out the whole company and not mess about with subsidiaries, if they wait until the end of March (highest price paid in 12 months) they could in theory have the lot for £8m.
I've looked at investing here as the potential could be significant, it's one of the those stocks that can quickly pull you into the story and carry you along for years. I've been investing for far too long and can count on on hand how many companies have gone from minnow to major without diluting shareholders to oblivion. The brand is well received and the distribution network they've created should hold some decent value however the recent RNS regarding funding was a big red flag. As other posters have stated, this will need significant investment until they're at a point of generating sufficient cash, having to stop production because they're skint is unbelievable and raising enough cash to last only a few months suggests the brokers wanted it at much lower price, hence the recent RNS. The potential is there but the guy leading it needs to go, this is PLC, not a corner shop.
I've nothing to elaborate Mental, the reason just doesn't sit right. As a Director I suspect he'll contribute very little towards the corporate stuff so why lose the title? Why volunteer to lose the title?
I don't buy the "A J needs to concentrate on his operational duties" line. I've had this discussion with a fellow investor and a few Zoom calls a year towards his Directorship won't save him much time. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but there's more to that change imo.
So Nick is heading out to Oz as per this mornings Tweet, not a journey you make if it can be done over Zoom. The meetings with asset related parties sounds very intriguing.
We're in a lull at the moment whilst we wait for the assays, perhaps Nick could give the labs a kick whilst over there.
"It makes more sense to me to concentrate on one area rather than spread yourself thinly"
That is exactly what most of us have been saying for years, CB was guilty of this scattergun approach. Stick multiple holes in the ground in different areas and you might hit the jackpot. The problem is it's this strategy is based on chance.
Sounds like you have a serious axe to grind with the Twitterati. It's not difficult to work out who you are. Most of us are here because of the failings and incompetence of previous management and not because Bel and Blowster are giving it a pump on Twitter, so save yourself a job.
