I'm unsure how to read your message mate. I hope you don't think I'm making fun of you because that's not what I was saying. That's not what I meant at all.

All I meant that I was joining in the fun, but to see the lights on was a bit of a shock. It's all good here mate.

I didn't expect to see what I did... I was actually being flippant in my response to Bolox.

I would NOT be basing any sort of investment strategy on me seeing a few lights on in a single cinema.

It has made me want to go full Columbo on the subject now though... Dig deeper.... Real deep.

I can confirm what I said is true. The lights were clearly on at the drinks dispensers and over the shop area. The A4 posters have been removed. I couldn't see any movement.... but why would I at 9pm.

I cannot verify how long the light have been on, or when the little posters came down but I can say I didn't notice the lights 2 weeks ago Saturday when I drove past going to a friends house.

I must also say that the fact I noticed the lights on means nothing. It could be an employee doing some checks and forgetting to turn off the switch. The posters could have just feel off the doors. It could be purely coincidental.

The lights are on inside the foyer where the pick and mix / Baskin Robbins counters are. The drinks post-mix lights are on. The signs in the windows saying they're closed till further notice have disappeared!

Wasn't Lamprell expecting 4 Gas/Oil related Contract and 2 Renewable Contract Awards this year (2020)?

I understand that they might not be awarded but I think this would leave a further 3 possible awards between now and early 2021 without any additions to their list of tenders as indicated at the end of 2019.

My feeling is hold. August - October - December are usually the best months for Cinema, obviously it's different times.

All the big film releases are backed up so they'll be spaced out to avoid each other to a certain degree but spaced close to each other to create a situation where cinema attendance will be consistent over the next 6 (?) Months.

I expect the usual daily and monthly peaks and troughs of attendance to be much smoother because of the unique situation.

I think that as long as the US opens cinema in the next 4 weeks & the studios don't move the dates again we will be OK - These are the big ones for me.

The studios do not want cinema to fail. I could even see them extending the run in the theatres to some extent. 2 big blockbusters on the bounce will be enough to right the ship (for now). The way cinema will have to space films and the fact people are still off work (on U.C. / Furlough in the UK) will create a sustained income over a longer period to provide stability. Unlimted passes = instant cash.

We hold our breath on the legal proceedings but I have faith in Cine to have considered their position and to have made the right choice. Why wouldn't they have done this?
