One thing is certain now. The US can look forward to an interest rate reduction. When it comes - sooner or later - it will be a huge boost to this neurotic frenzy of jumping off the cliff. Stock valuations of the Nasdaq are strong. Nowhere nearly as high as during the mad Dot-Com boom though.... Now - there are real big earnings, and a fairly clear vision of what AI and other breakthroughs will bring to benefit society. Pays your money and takes your chance. I'll bet many of the short term chart technical traders got caught with their pants down, as they were all saying 'breakout' on the upside 2 days ago ! Mind you, we all got caught. Fundamentals haven't changed since 3 days ago,- just the Fed expectancy wasn't realised. ....I can't see this sell off continuing for more than 2-3 days.. Mind you, WTFDIK ?... Fridays are a terrible day to have an RNS. People have other w/e things on their mind, and will have not noticed anything by Monday. Bad choice of day. Tuesdays are most effective. The IIs can have a meet, and execute action within the week if they so wish. Same for us retail bums.

In the city in my day, it was called , “ALL THE HOARS” (deliberately misspelt). Meaning when the police raided the hoar houses, they rounded up ALL the hoars, The ugly ones, the fat ones, the druggie ones, the young ones, pretty ones and the good ones,… etc., etc., They all get dragged along regardless . This what happens when there is a sell off.

I have lived in such a country for several years and totally understand what goes on. Having left the Army, I worked as a commodity brokerfor Merrill Lynch there in the days it was MLPFS. Please take the blinkers off.

I am sure you all realise what will happen to the SP of CTL if the license is not granted, or put on hold…..it will tank, and we’ll be the last to find out. The possible reason it may not be granted is that no ‘arrangement of understanding’ has been agreed with those who like brown envelopes. This South America, after all. Don’t shoot the messenger….

Don't think the market will react at all. As I said, August is basically a dead month for institutions to react much, thus lousy volumes. Friday is also a a bad day - as traders square up their books before the w/e, holidays. etc. Senior investment management all troddle down to Rock, Cornwall, and stuff themselves at Rick Stein's., over the estuary, and then play golf at Trevose, and St Enedocs. At well over £340 pp per round. !!! Such fun, what ? FFS
