Politics - The core of the problem is that politicians don't need any qualifications whatsoever, except for to be serial liars, subject avoiders, and orators. There is always someone who is going to believe what the person on the soapbox is saying !

What they are good at, is pointing the finger and blaming any opposition. Knocking other parties should not be allowed in politics and Parliament. ....Pious pr'cks, the lot of them..... All IMO, of course.......

Seems to me this 'news' has already been factored into the SP long ago. As you say. It"s no surprise......Just a game of wait and see, wait and see.....

Good comment Kipper. IR people are liars, hoodwinkers and bullshttrs. They skip from job to job, unqualified in anything, and lie through their teeth assuming we are all naive.....I've never heard a good one yet.

Anyone figured out the one share trade quandary yet? When calculating dividends, options, warrants, etc., Is it rounding out fractions to a whole share rather than a decimal point addition?

NoFear - I have often seen my buy as a sell and the reverse on the Advfn website. I think they just put the trades in differing sectors just to add to the confusion. Obviously, there is both a buyer and seller to conclude a transaction, but a little more clarity and transparency wouldn't go amiss ! They are a cunning and dangerous lot those city Bumpkins. Their only God is gain.

Arcadium Lithium Plc (NYSE:ALTM) – Arcadium Lithium will suspend or delay two of its four expansion projects due to a global oversupply and prolonged lithium price decline. The company revised the project timeline in Argentina and is considering bringing a partner for the Galaxy project in Canada. The changes will reduce capital spending by about $500 million. The big blip was all about a quarter of an interest percentage point reduction that didn't happen : so Goldman Sachs comes out with an alarmist "Recession Scare" .......... I wouldn't trust them one iota.........IMO, of course....

I don’t really care about CTL shares as I only have 20k of them @ 60p, so essentially written off. I am real flappy, playing golf every day. I have seen these sell offs many times before. You have a nice day, and try being pleasant to someone. They may even smile at you, rather than laugh.

I don't want a debate. I want information. Unbiased and informed. Not speculation or IMO's.

I'm off to golf, whilst this market rout continues.
