Disappeared for 10 days? Do I have to sign in every day? I didn't know that.... FFS !
No Croq, I watch it assiduously every day - whether I'm in the UK or not! As I said in my post a few days ago, nothing has really happened enough to get the serious money interested. CTL just added to its debt position. And, unless those options were got rid of, the CTL was going nowhere anyway. When there is some really positive news , I will be as happy as you rampers. I will still be in this share for many years yet, so get used to it. Implants et al.
I assumed they already had full ownership. Was anyone made aware it was otherwise?
This is a neutral RNS, not really a plus point ..What if the options had been exercised?
Any other sneaky secret snakes to come out of the woodwork ?
Denby - I tend to agree with you. He should have been gently fired. Trouble is, he probably has 'a relationship' with his Govt contact re the CEOLs. Steve needs someone who speaks Spanish, and knows these mining procedures. A new 'relationship' would have to be formed, and that takes time and persuasion.. (etc, etc)
Steve knows this... and certainly won't admit it. Meanwhile, most intermediate news will be just positive 'spin.'..
Methinks the timeline for the receipt of CEOLs will now be extended. Mr. Aldo will have enough on his plate what with a divorce, loan problems, pretty much having lost his job, and his future as a 'consultant' limited to the time it takes to get those CEOLs. Add that tainted standing to the already huge drop in the equity value of his shareholding. Let's just hope he gets the CEOLs, so the SP, and thus his equity increases, to alleviate the said problems. I hope he sees it that way, rather than bitter feeling to his fellow directors. Pride and face is a big thing with the Spanish peoples.
I just hope Steve is on top of all this, and takes over the CEO role. Who was dealing with the Govt? A Spanish speaker I presume. My shares go back in the drawer for a year or two.... I have been here before with other AIM shares. . It gets uglier..... and uglier....
donuts... I sympathise....
EVs ?
The thing that concerns me is that there is no real shortage of Lithium in the world. So, why should the price necessarily go back up?
As for EVs I'm not convinced they are the answer. I have just got back from the USA ,and there, EVs are posy, 'I'm planet concerned' cars, like the Prius was. Generally, he Americans hate them - because of the lack charging facilities and low mileage. They drive hundreds of miles without a thought. I don't even know anybody who really likes them here. A 2nd car for 'emissionst concerned' wifey perhaps...
Do you have one ? Have you tried to sell it ? People don't like the idea of 2nd hand old batteries. The car industry is in a quandary, because they have built cars too reliably well, and the public are holding on to them . Especially the Asian built (every extra included) ones.
Mr. Rose Tinted glasses. The most vocal person on this open forum. Empty vessels etc. etc. ... ``You keep up the ramping, 'copying and pasting', ......one day you come up with a thought of your own.
Just can't stand a differing option, can you? FFS ...
You get real. Take a good long hard look at Chile's copper......as a commodities broker in Plantation House, with Merrill Lynch (then MLPFS), I was trading Copper on the LME in the '70's....
You please explain why there appears to be no retail or institutional interest.? Also, why the SP has fallen to a penny share status.? Get real indeed !
I listened to the webinar. Enough, enough. Apart from Steve's droning monotone, it seems to me nothing has really happened. The Govt is getting its 'commissions'(call it what you like) in place, and the wildcat miners will have to fall in line. Also, if all was hugely successful, I wouldn't be surprised if those in power want the whole cake and will nationalise in some form. Greed is a huge factor in S. America, and Chile is no different. I don't know what CTL is doing on AIM either. That's a bent wild west in itself !
Hope this cheers you all up !
Rampers, and excitable optimists abound in AIM 'Oil, Gas, and Mining' shares....
Some brown envelopes will have to pass under the table to those with the power before CEOL s are granted. This is South America and the third world , after all.....Cualquiera que piense lo contrario es ingenuo......
INVWELL.....In Chile, the State has absolute, exclusive, inalienable and imprescriptible dominion over all mines located within the national territory.
The Ministry of Mining is responsible for issuing these “Contratos Especiales de Operación de Litio (CEOL)” based on a presidential decree.
Hope this helps... ..
