Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
@Zoom, the point is....sticking with the same strategy and expecting different results is a BOD issue to me.
There are owner / operators that are doing quite well on AIM at the mo despite the general downturn.
We are not a miner...we are an investment company and valued so i.e. equity stakes alone.
For those who want to compare us to 100% owned projects, or valuations based on NPV's.
Re posted from 29/06/22....
"In 2017 KM approached II's, Brokers and MM's seeking a better reflection of our worth, he was told we are an investment company and are valued so, i.e. equity stakes in EMH and BCN etc. KM argued that he could justify more through our JV's via their NPV, he was told we are not the owner / operator of said JV's and the market cap of the owners of the JV's didn't justify a better valuation for us.
Roll on San Luis and a strategy change, we were going to be owner / operator, masters of our own destiny, so any value proven through feasibility studies etc would be attributable to us.
Now Amapa where we are a minority JV owner and a 50/50 operator. Is this strategy enough for the market to re-rate us?... The PFS in July will guide."
Well IMO the market has spoken regarding this strategy.
Lol @mrc..."The only positives are that it doesn't look like any more placings".
Details of the loan include....
"The Investors will then have the right for 12 months to convert such amounts either at a price equal to 12.7 pence (representing a 30% premium to the closing price on 25/05/2023) or at a 7% discount to the average of the five daily VWAPs chosen by the Investors in the 20 trading days preceding its conversion notice or at the price the Company issues further equity if lower than the existing conversion price."
Note, not 'if' the company issues further equity...but, at the price the company issues further equity 🤷♂️.
@jimb2
Yes I believe you are, because what was said in January changed by March.
From...We were going to fund the DFS ourselves to...We need a JV partner to finance the DFS, possibly overall project financing.
But the DFS cannot begin until we have completed the optimisation studies...which is what this loan is for.

@jimb2
The DFS can only begin once optimisation studies are complete (hence this loan).
A JV partner will then be required to finance the DFS and possibly overall project financing.
Can't see that happening by Tuesday AM though.
Interesting read, and the authors view on what concessions are granted and which concessions are 'sought' after by Ganfeng.

Leave it out Mer, go back through my posts to Derek...you'll find it. You can say I'm shorting till your blue in the face lol...doesn't make you correct .
Try posting something relevant to the company and stop filling the board with your goading BS.
Ps, I thought your last post was the last one you were making about lil ol' me ;-)
@Mer, for the record I have answered @degsie's one generic question to any poster he doesn't like many times over the years. frankly this time I can't be ****d. This board used to be good for like minded people to share and debate ideas and information about the company, not be attacked with unfounded accusations for posting a FACT.
@Bannor nailed it....
"It's dumb & childish to keep asking people if & why they're invested because they state facts or don't sing the same song of sixpence as you but that's Degsie all over for you & always has been .... you've been suckered in on this occasion for whatever reason and that's surprised me but there you go deny it if you like but it seems uncharacteristic of you IMO ...."
And that's all I have to say on the matter.
@Degsie, @Bannor beat me to it. But for the last 10 years I've been here, we've exchanged words numerous times because you can't put a value to the JV's (don't understand), you've also accessed the links I've posted regarding the company numerous times Derek, that aside, do you really think someone would post consistently for 10 years on the same stock? If your expectation metrics are governed by what WHI say....good luck to you!
