Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Yes @EV which was announced last May.
Yet in October 23...

"PBA, DEV and TCIDR will now develop a roadmap to seek to secure the financing for the DFS"
And in December...https://youtu.be/CjScNlQ51kA?t=200
"The intent is, you know, subject to financing is to get and start that DFS next year".
The point is we would have been told if we had appointed someone to do the DFS, but it looks like KM's end of year completion date for the DFS will be moved out.
Exactly @Bannor....
It's what I was pointing out to @jimb2 in December.
"@jimb "Chinese will buy our Amapa holding in the next year, my view,"
I'm quite bullish on Amapa, but can't see a sale next year...
No-one would buy it pre DFS.
KM stated a DFS by the end of next year subject to financing.
We don't have a funding partner as yet to start the DFS and it's a minimum 12 month timeframe to complete."

Where's the DFS in 2024?
@jimb2, IMO...the following is referring to KDNC and the author doesn't realise we are challenging it under a stand alone BIT agreement....the continuation bit is reference to the UK leaving the EU and having our own FTA (which basically replicated the existing EU-Mexico FTA).
"Another group of investors, said another source, are also evaluating filing arbitration under the rules of the trade agreement between Mexico and the United Kingdom, which is a continuation of the Free Trade Agreement between Mexico and the European Union (TLCUEM)."
@jimb2, seen it earlier, positive news indeed.
Also from earlier...Bacanora lithium prepares arbitration for the cancellation of its concessions..

Thanks @jimb2. I'm aware of the amparo lawsuits. I couldn't find out if any lithium co's have had success though.
There's even a sentence in the '2024 mining Laws and Regulations' that states....
"The amendment does not clarify whether the exclusion of lithium will apply to mining concessions containing lithium that were previously issued by the MMB; that is, whether expropriation proceedings can be conducted over this kind of mining concession. However, according to declarations by the Mexican President, it is not the intention of his administration to conduct such kinds of proceedings. It is important to mention that in the opinion of jurisconsults of recognised standing in Mexico, this amendment to the Mining Law may be declared null if invoked, as provided by law, due to defects at its promulgation and for being against the Mexican Constitution."
@jimb...It would make far more sense and less risk for them to fund the DFS and have a foot in the door, and then decide whether to buy it or not pending results.....as per Ganfeng / Bacanora. Companies don't just dive into unknowns, apart from exploration co's that is.
It would need to be sold dirt cheap for that to happen @Barksy.
Either take a risk and buy it cheap then do your own DFS, or make an informed decision via an already completed DFS and pay more if the project is viable.
We are doing the DFS to maximise potential sale value.
