Speculation is that he will release some good news before the next trading update which is due in the New Year. There is no point in issuing one now which included the last three months and will be somewhat out of date.
Now that the new shares have finally been issued, he may surprise us all and give us a nice Christmas present!
The only news I think that would be available for release is if they have been pursuing another acquisition, completed the paperwork and are now in a position to pay (from the remaining funds in Northstar`s accounts) This would add on further AUM immediately.
GS may redeem himself yet!
Lets wait and see.

Alun, I think with the festive break upon us and only a few trading days in between, it may be left to early Jan and encompass the last six months.

You have been proved wrong on here many times and have lost credibility. Even Martinigirl has joined in the spurious claims of when news is coming.

Well, 48 hrs have elapsed and Raaydaar is about to eat his hat.
Still no news....

It will recover, it is just going to take time.
Unfortunately due to the long lead time on the mining results, most (traders) investors will not be able to tie up their money or will want to.
I will be starting to buy in here after Christmas, it will be a small amount per month.
I am encouraged by the interviews, impressed by the management and attracted by the level of investment being made.
