For those with little knowledge of funding, like myself..
Here is a RNS which contains combined funding methods, placing and convertible loan..
Also drilling based on a dry hole, then additional payments on a discovery

Reality is He1 will always aim to create a positive out look but they don't have to tell us all..
Remember DM said He1 were "committed" to drilling this year, not "will be" drilling..
But only now mention the competition for rigs(or is that a lack of rigs in Africa, was the mineral rig the only option last year?)..

Its also difficult to see things from a neutral point when you believe something is about to happen..
Watch this Tai-2 video again, Ian's just talking about getting some readings/data to help select future targets , no hint at all of Tai-2 being a commercial discovery. But the story from other sources led many to believe Tai-2 was it..
Interestingly Ian also mentions that two other locations were identified during the first 2D infill work, which have not been mentioned???

We have always had more prospects than funding allows drilling, its porkies favorite JV ramp .
Not one of the original prospects from phase1 was drilled and the only reason for not being drilled is the mineral rig(but they have not confirmed that or otherwise) so we have at least 3 targets for this years exploration window..
Then the comment about this years rig...

For me its watch and learn and hopefully holding will mean at least I keep my money..

@Ash, The thing is plenty will have committed their max funds for this share, after being told there would not be a fund raise for this exploration phase, and the sp price appearing to consolidate, until Ukraine, hints of a fund raise and possible difficulties in sourcing a rig, anyway I am still "committed" to buying an Aston Martin ;)

I hope they are willing to pay more, otherwise its the PI who will be paying for the delay...again

But there must be an oil rig salvage yard in Texas, buy 3 make 1
Might revive scrap yard challenge..

We will have our rig in a day or two, its just going to cost more than last year..

I have not given 2024 much thought, to far away..and a lots go to happen first..
I would be interested in knowing if He1 will be paying for that rig from the time it leaves Houston, and possibly until return, especially if shipping door to door takes a month or a little longer.. Could be the talks considering sharing mobilization costs was due to the time the rig would be traveling compared to drilling, paying for a rig not drilling.
Then the companies would have had to share the drilling season..
They said too little and too much about the rig, should have kept to we are inspecting our rig before agreeing terms..

@QS, If a person has votes entered for every share they own then I guess almost nobody voted, maybe a HNW individual, you and a few others.
Votes in respect of total share capital was 3.8% for each resolution, almost a closed door event I guess..
