Gutsy, hope not, it's double bottom at this low, I doubt(??) the raise will come before some early news.. And there have been some good rises off the lows..

They ticked the Bid up before the Ask, not sure if they want shares, but a few big sellers arrived(squeaky bum time).

@Deep100, don't read the BB too much, just pick out what you need to know, its easier to sell that way..

Maybe always plan to sell, and reassess at the selling point, rather than intend on holding...

At the current price, people missing out on 20p, and that sudden rise from 11p, it would be considered a last chance to get in low..

So the city makes, the PI gets cheaper entry, the LTH know it will recover, and the company is loaded, everybody happy

Mmmmmmmm, I guess there are some conversion errors but

20.5Bbtu=19.94mmscf/d.(plus 10% is ~ 22mmscf/d)

25.7 BBTU=25mmscf

And the C is an approximation ?

So they can produce upto 54mmscf/d but contracted to 25mmscf/d which cuts the production forecast for Akatara in half, if that is the 9/10kboe taking production up from 13k to 22/23k per day

Why is that gas agreement only 25mmscf/d is they are producing double...?

I assumed it was the minimum until the last poster asked if they could exceed that amount, ?

Obviously there is limited pipe capacity and its shared, plus if you have a contract for 25mmscf/d its for 25 not 50 ??

Mmmmm, my last post makes it sound like Akatara could come in on the low side but todays update makes it sound top end of expectations..

"The workover campaign on the five existing Akatara wells which will provide gas to the Facility has been successfully completed, flowing at an aggregate rate of 54 mmscf/d, significantly in excess of the c.25 mmscf/d of raw feed gas required under the gas sales agreement. In addition, the 17km pipeline which will deliver gas into the regional gas trunkline has been successfully tested and is now ready to receive Akatara gas."

So, now I have the correct conversion, 54 mmscf/d is about 9,571 boe/d

A huge increase over 2023 production

MMMMMMmmmmmm, what are they saying here... is the forecast lower due to Q1 production, or Akatara or both .. Its one paragraph but if you split into the two different topics it suggests two reasons for lower forecasts

l The 2024 production guidance range is narrowed from 20-23,000 boe/d to 20-22,000 boe/d. The change to the upper end of guidance reflects first quarter Group production performance, which was impacted by both planned and unplanned downtime across the portfolio.

Current internal forecasts point to an outcome at the lower end of the updated guidance range, BASED ON first commercial gas sales from Akatara in June 2024, albeit there remains a wide range of possible outcomes, principally based on the timing and nature of Akatara's ramp up, as well as initiatives underway to optimise production at the Group's current producing assets.
