page 16/17 shows sites/current lines..I think the are doing a more detailed seismic study of the 3 sites they intend drilling, mapping the underground in order to find the best spots to drill. kasuku, mbuni and itumbula..each of these has 3 targets, so 9 possible results that could be worth $100m in total.
Seismic study involves sending waves into the ground, receiving the echos to map whats under ground..
The lines are probably a grid pattern they follow ensuring good coverage of the area being surveyed..

If Rukwa proves good then there are two more areas worth waiting on..

Tried pointing two elephants out in a local field some years back but nobody would look..

Lake Rukwa is an alkaline lake and contains salt pans by its southwestern ends. Like many salt lakes, Rukwa has no outlets and many inflowing rivers that can bring salts. Averaging about 3 meters (10 feet) deep, the lake’s water levels fluctuate depending on rainfall and inflow from the surrounding rivers. The highest water levels tend to occur during the rainy seasons in October and April. It holds the largest population of crocodiles in Tanzania. The lake basin is frequently visited by hippopotamus, otters and more than 80,000 breeding great white pelicans. The lake is also home to nearly 60 fish species, of which one-third are endemic.
Neighboring Lake Tanganyika is the world’s longest freshwater lake and second deepest; it holds about 17 percent of the world’s freshwater. The lake supports about 1,500 species of animals, nearly half of which are only found in the lake.

History
The age of Lake Eyasi is estimated at 65 million years, just after dinosaurs became extinct. The feature formed due to the opening of a rift on the valley floor. For over 50,000 years, hunter–gatherers known as the Hadza or Hadzabe have lived around the lake’s shores. To the south-east, specifically the swampy Yaeda Valley, there are the Datooga, a pastoralist people.
Among the area’s highlights are flamingos, great white pelican, grey-headed gull, yellow-billed stork, pied avocet, and African spoonbill. The two main fish species in the lake are lungfish and catfish.
During wet periods, lake depths typically remain less than one metre.

Zhanjiang Aoliyou power station is a 1,200-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant in Guangdong Province, China.
The two Orimulsion-fired units were completed in December 2006 and January 2007. It was the largest Orimulsion-fired power plant in the world by then. But the Orimulsion supply, imported from Venezuela, stopped after one month of the plant's operation as the Chavez government bowed out of the contract. The power plant was forced to suspend. Guangdong Yudean Group spent US$50 million to convert the Zhanjiang Aoliyou plant from Orimulsion-fired to coal-fired between 2009-2011
