Premier African Minerals has indicated that the all-in projected cost (ASIC) for delivered spodumene concentrate (SC6) to China port, inclusive of all administrative and overhead costs, is less than US$750 per tonne when the Zulu plant output reaches 4,000 tonnes per month. This figure excludes any credits from byproducts such as tantalum or potential expansions of the plant.
During ramp-up and optimization, the plant has been running at approximately 50% of its original design flotation capacity, with initial production targets starting at 50 tonnes per day (about 1,500 tonnes per month), aiming to increase to the full 4,000 tonnes per month as upgrades and optimizations are completed.
