Second Generation Microtox(R) PD[i] pandemic response equipment shipping to UK, China and India

Modern Water, a division of DeepVerge (AIM: DVRG) announces GBP2.2m worth of new orders for newly enhanced monitoring equipment with upgraded software which are being shipped to the UK, India and China to meet customer and partner obligations for delivery in this financial year.

Initial shipments of Pandemic Response Equipment

The shipments include upgraded Microtox(R) toxicity monitoring, new models of the Microtox(R) PD range for SARS-CoV-2 and other pathogen monitoring as well as Microsaic mass spectrometer equipment to monitor forever chemicals and contaminants of emerging concern.

New software, data management capability, dashboards, encryption, and new AI models are fully integrated as part of the shipped solutions that offer three levels of surveillance:

1. Traditional pollution - toxicity and heavy metals
2. Pandemic surveillance, and
3. PFASs - "Forever Chemicals" (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances)

DeepVerge New Product Development in Cork, Ireland

The equipment was assembled in DeepVerge's product development facility in Cork, Ireland which has been up and running for the past six months. The new generation of Modern Water surveillance solutions also come with enhanced data generation capability and AI learning that allows added value extrapolation of data being delivered in real-time.

This new facility gives DeepVerge control of final assembly and Quality Assurance as well as providing a world serving logistics centre that includes the EU, China, and India with delivery of the solutions to national and provincial government and state controlled utilities. It will play a vital part in the worldwide supply chain being developed with existing partners and develop new manufacturing partnerships in China.

Synairgen announces its inhaled interferon beta (SNG001) is advancing to Phase 3 of the NIH-sponsored

ACTIV-2 COVID-19 Trial

Southampton, UK - 20 October 2021: Synairgen plc (LSE: SNG), the respiratory company developing SNG001, a formulation for inhalation containing the broad-spectrum anti-viral protein interferon beta (IFN-beta) for the treatment of severe viral lung infections, has been informed that the external data safety monitoring board (DSMB) of the ACTIV-2 study has recommended that SNG001 advance into Phase 3 in mild to moderate COVID-19 patients.

Phillip Monk, Chief Scientific Officer of Synairgen, explained : "Interferon beta is a naturally-occurring protein, which orchestrates the body's antiviral responses. SARS-CoV-2 suppresses IFN-beta production to compromise the immune system; the aim of delivering SNG001 directly into the lungs is to restore or boost natural antiviral defences to prevent the virus from causing severe lower respiratory tract illness. Unfortunately, despite vaccination programmes and early interventions, thousands of patients are still hospitalised every day due to COVID-19-induced breathing difficulties. Data to date suggests SNG001 is well tolerated with a favourable safety profile and there is growing evidence to support the rationale for delivering IFN-beta directly into the lungs to counter the effects of SARS-CoV-2."

Richard Marsden, CEO of Synairgen, said: "The advancement of SNG001 from Phase 2 to Phase 3 of the large ACTIV-2 trial is very welcome news and continues to build the case that our formulation of inhaled IFN-beta may have an important role in combatting COVID-19 and future emerging virus threats. In addition to the ACTIV-2 trial, our own Phase III SPRINTER study assessing SNG001 in hospitalised COVID-19 patients, is also progressing well and we expect top-line results in early 2022."

As of today, Synairgen has not received any data from the ACTIV-2 trial.

Now its time to go to town on Eurasia Mining as a bear

Two or three weeks ago I clambered off the fence and explicitly told you to short Eurasia Mining (EUA) at 28p.The shares are now 23.6p in the middle. So far so good for we bears but the company is still valued by the market, on a fully diluted basis as there are loads of in the money options, at well over £700million which is insane. A placing announced yesterday is the cue to add to your shorts.

To address teling people to go short at 28p,it must have been 3 weeks ago as the share price was 28p on Sept 3rd.The share price then went UP to 36.5P BY Sept 6th,the next time the share price was 28p was Sept 16th roughly a week ago,so from that I conclude the price rose after telling people to go short!!
Re the placing,the intention to do a placing was announced on the 20th not yesterday,granted completion was yesterday but why not make this clear.

So I wonder what else is the article ,but I wont be subscribing having read the headline!

Completion of US$15m financing for Rosgeo JV
