Eurasia Mining plc, the palladium, platinum, rhodium, iridium and gold producing company, operating the established West Kytlim Mine in the Urals, and also the operator of the Monchetundra Project comprising two predominantly palladium open pit deposits located 3km away from Severonickel, one of Norilsk Nickel's largest base metals and PGM processing facilities, near the town of Monchegorsk on the Kola Peninsula, clarifies the status of the Company's relationship with CITIC Merchant Co Limited ("CITIC Merchant"), and is pleased to announce restoration to trading of the Company's ordinary shares on the AIM market and the launch of a formal sale process under the UK Takeover Code.

The Company confirms that it has entered into a success fee based engagement letter with CITIC Merchant to, amongst other things, explore possible strategic options for the Company's mining assets.

As per the announcement released by the Company on 1 July 2020, the Board has appointed UBS Investment Bank ("UBS") as its leading adviser to assist in a review of its strategic options including asset sales or a sale of the Company. For more details please refer to the RNS released on 1 July 2020.

In summary, the Company now has success fee based engagement letters signed with UBS and CITIC Merchant, and Eurasia's relationship with VTB Capital continues to be as previously announced on 25 November 2019.

There can be no guarantee that any transaction, regarding either a sale of the Company or particular asset(s), will occur.

RESTORATION OF TRADING ON AIM

The Company expects trading in the ordinary shares of the Company on the AIM market to be restored to trading at 7:30 am on 9 July 2020.

Christian Schaffalitzky, Executive Chairman of Eurasia, commented: "The Board remains focused on maximising shareholder value, and, after receiving approaches from multiple parties interested in acquiring the Company's assets, has decided that launching a formal sale process under the Takeover Code is in the best interests of shareholders, which could result in a sale of assets or the Company. Restructuring of ePurse and formation of new Joint Venture Companies

Sealand ( " Sealand " or " the Company " ) is pleased to announce that it has restructured its ePurse business, which has now become a wholly owned subsidiary of Tengwuyang Holdings Limited ( " Tengwuyang " ), a newly formed joint venture company with Tenet. Tenet is a subsidiary of Tencent - Dayuewang, a certified MCN (Multi Channel Network) institution. Dayuewang is a website with a Chinese userbase and is ultimately owned by Shenzhen Tencent Computer Co. Ltd and the Nanfang Media Group. Tengwuyang has entered into a partnership with Qfang International Co. Limited ( " Qfang " ), with Ofang having a 42% stake in this partnership.

Qfang provides a range of marketing, advertising and e-commerce services on a variety of digital platforms including: Tmall International, Alimama AMP and Lazada. Alimama is a leading big data marketing platform based in China and Lazada is the largest e-commerce operator in Southeast Asia, with more than 50 million active buyers annually. Both are owned by the Alibaba Group.

Qfang ' s team has over ten years ' of global online marketing, promotion and e-commerce experience. The team have successfully executed multiple strategies for a variety of clients including: Graco and Britax, the child car safety seat manufacturer; German water and purifier brands VENTA and Brita; as well as Babo Botanicals, an organic maternal and infant bath care brand based in the US.

The new JV will enable ePurse to offer a holistic e-commerce solution, providing merchants with a complete, turnkey solution ranging from market research to preparation, planning, promotion, operations and sales.

Biotechnology minnow Tiziana Life Sciences has signed a deal to ramp up manufacturing of a potential treatment for Covid-19 patients.
Tiziana shot 7 per cent or 7p, to 107p after agreeing with US group STC Biologics to make its antibody, which it believes can help reduce inflammation and prevent serious lung damage, for clinical studies.
The group is working with another firm to develop a technology that will send the drug directly into the lungs using a handheld inhaler.

The consultation will run through to the 2nd September and will involve 3 public meetings. We have the green light at last to progress this final stage, so all being well, expect exploitation licence announcement in October maybe small chance late September.

Dundas Titanium A/S has submitted an application for exploitation licence of an ilmenite deposit at Moriusaq, Northwest Greenland. In relation to this application, the Company has submitted a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and an Environment Impact Assessment (SIA). Both of these documents are now sent for public consultation and can be accessed HERE.

The public consultation runs from 24 June 2020 until 2 September 2020.

As required by the Mineral Resources Act, public meetings will also take place during this period. The public meetings will follow the existing guidelines for gatherings under the COVID-19 epidemic. National expansion of Synairgen's home-based COVID-19 trial of inhaled SNG001
Southampton, UK - 18 June 2020: Synairgen plc (LSE: SNG), the respiratory drug discovery and development company, today announces the expansion of the placebo-controlled home setting clinical trial of SNG001 (inhaled formulation of interferon-beta-1a) in patients with COVID-19. The trial has been expanded beyond the Southampton area to include patients across the majority of the UK.
Patients in almost any part of the UK who have tested positive for coronavirus, and meet the additional eligibility criteria, can now participate in the home setting arm of Synairgen's COVID-19 trial. Daily video calls with a doctor or nurse will be conducted to supervise dosing with the study medication and for the assessment of trial endpoints. All trial supplies, including a pulse oximeter, thermometer, nebuliser and the trial drug, will be delivered directly to the patient, minimising the chance of spreading the virus.
Visits to the trial website for SNG001 have shown that the majority of eligible patients who have completed the online assessment have lived too far from Synairgen's virus testing laboratory in Southampton for entry into the trial. Synairgen has therefore amended the trial protocol to allow patients from elsewhere in the UK into the trial, provided they have a positive test result from another laboratory e.g. from an NHS testing facility. NHS COVID-19 testing facilities have seen a significant increase in capacity and turnaround times since the Test and Trace service was launched in May, making it now possible to get a test result within the timeframe required for entry into the home setting arm of Synairgen's COVID-19 trial.
The design of this home-based trial will not only test the effectiveness of SNG001 on patients identified earlier in the disease progression, but it will also generate valuable experience in the design and practical delivery of a model of remote care for at risk patients in this and future outbreaks.
Richard Marsden, CEO of Synairgen, commented: "We are really pleased to expand patient access to this first-of-its-kind trial. Not only does the home setting trial design allow us to test the drug much earlier in the illness, possibly preventing the worsening of symptoms, but it also reduces the infection risk for both patients and front-line workers due to its virtual format. SFX-01 to be evaluated in COVID-19 trial
Evgen Pharma plc (AIM: EVG), the clinical stage drug development company, is delighted to announce participation in the recently notified funding initiative for COVID-19 clinical trials by the medical research charity, LifeArc. Under this scheme Evgen's lead product candidate, SFX-01, has been selected for evaluation in a randomised Phase II/III trial to be sponsored by the University of Dundee ("Dundee"). The trial will investigate whether SFX-01 can reduce the severity, or prevent the onset of, acute respiratory distress syndrome ("ARDS") associated with COVID-19, thus reducing the need for invasive patient ventilation and potentially improving recovery times.
SFX-01 upregulates the Nrf2 pathway which is part of the natural human defence against inflammatory and oxidative stress, such as the inflammation that occurs during a severe viral infection. Preclinical studies have shown that up-regulating the Nrf2 pathway reduces the severity of ARDS, the progressive lung damage observed in COVID-19 patients which can result in the need for invasive ventilation in an intensive care unit.
The trial is being led by Professor James Chalmers, British Lung Foundation Professor of Respiratory Research at the University of Dundee. The study will recruit up to 300 patients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 from hospitals across the UK. Half the group will receive SFX-01 in addition to standard hospital care while the other half will receive a placebo and standard hospital care. The study is expected to begin enrolment in July, and results are expected in 2021.
Evgen will supply clinical centres with SFX-01 and a placebo as its contribution to the trial. No additional financing is required as the costs of providing SFX-01 for the trial are not material.
The clinical study is being supported by a grant from LifeArc, as part of its activities to address the need for new therapies for COVID-19. LifeArc has made GBP10m available to repurpose existing medicines or those in the late stage of development, as this approach offers one of the fastest routes to develop new treatments that could tackle the virus and its impact. LifeArc received more than 130 in-scope applications from around the globe for this scheme and an independent panel of experts assessed shortlisted applications selected on a number of criteria including scientific rationale of approach.
Professor James Chalmers, Principal Investigator on the trial, said : "SFX-01 is an anti-inflammatory medication that we believe may have the potential to reduce some of the worst outcomes of COVID-19. Early treatment with an Nrf2 activator in patients hospitalised with COVID-19 may prevent deterioration and help to preserve precious ICU resources in the context of the pandemic. This is a completely new mechanism as there is currently no drug that targets Nrf2."
