Right folks, i have a small amount of jog shares and i dont know much about the business i am afraid, so i would like to ask those who do. Whilst this business is on the AIM whereabouts is it registered for tax purposes and would this registered business address possibly make it immune from and UK parliment windfall rules?
Hi Pedsy, interesting, thanks for mentioning that. So presumably the board were confident they could pay this debt off early back in 2017 when it was arranged, and seemingly the early payment option was triggered pretty much as soon as theu could. I would expect therefore a consistent boost to income by roughly the same amount as the debt interest payments year on year for the next few years. I guess interest rates are rising across the board so this early payback will be a boon.
Afternoon all, i recieved an email today from the planning portal giving some info on the planning decisions for the plastics park where our plant is in ellesmere port.
News round-up
Plastic park approved in Cheshire
Cheshire West and Chester Council has granted planning permission for a £165 million park that will be developed at Photos, a strategic energy and resource hub near Ellesmere Port.
Peel NRE, part of Peel L&P, is behind the plans.
The plastic park will feature innovative processing and treatment technologies to make the most of up to 367,500 tonnes of mixed recyclables and plastic every year.
The consent will also see a hydrogen refuelling station developed, with the overall scheme set to create 147 new jobs.
Richard Barker, development director at Peel NRE, said: “It’s imperative that we deliver creative solutions to the UK’s plastic problem. This project clusters recycling technologies in one place so that we can make the most of a whole range of plastic materials arriving on site, avoiding the need to ship them to different facilities around the region. It’ll mean we can cut down on vehicle movements, create 147 new jobs and deliver essential infrastructure to underpin a North West circular economy that’s much more sustainable.
“We’ve planned Protos as a holistic destination to support the UK on the road to net zero. With the recently announced Protos CO2 network, linking to the proposed regional carbon capture infrastructure, the plastic park is just another example of forward-thinking development that responds to the dual-challenge of reducing our waste sent to landfill, whilst cutting carbon emissions.”
This approval comes after a number of other consents at Protos, including the UK’s first waste plastic to hydrogen facility and a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) recycling plant that will take food and beverage packaging, such as plastic bottles, and recycle them for use in making new packaging products.
Yesterday i was reading the board and came across the post from jiffybag which was all about getting a grip on the actual numbers of shares the users of this board hold. I downloaded the pdf that jiffy kindly created
Today i cant find that post......whats going on ? Where is it.
Hi chaps, im just reading about this share issue thi ng and wanting to clarify something please, the company have created 82m new shares right? Thats not shares they have had in the company reserves held for release? . So the share base has definitely been watered down slightly.?
Thats a very good question webbo, i would surmise that post removal is done in line with the smallprint that comes when we all sign up for this forum. Therefore its a safe bet that anything that could leave the LSE body open to a criminal claim eg. Hate crime, drug related talk, inside teadung info, libel, etc. Etc. Anything like that could well be grounds for the moderator to remove a thread perhaps. In addition we are making an assumption that the moderation it's being performed by a human, in today's technical world i would expect a robot to perform the initial parsing of the posted data, after all there must be thousands of posts an hour right ?
Yes, very short and sweet. I bought into this share recently and was expecting a lift in price. As you say not much info in this Rms, certainly nothing bad anyway.
I had an interesting experience last night which was rather depressing regarding attitudes. I am in my 40s and after a good drinking session with a mate i have known for 30 years around our local beer gardens, we ended the night at a taxi rank early, about 10pm. As we chatted a young girl, i guess 20 years old, ran across the road and asked me if id she could have my mask, as my evening was finishing and hers was starting with here mates. I was suprised but as i had actually had a negative test the previous day and have both jabs in me i reasoned she was at little risk, in truth had i not given her my mask it was obvious she would go and ask someone else and they might well be less scrupulous. I did not approve of my giving her my mask but to better protect her i actually had no choice. Pretty crap position to be put in but the real disappointment was the complete disregard for her own wellbeing...i only hope she was a one off,but i doubt it, also im a stranger so sharing her friends masks and proximity would not even register would it....i avoid young people because of this selfish attitude...my own twin actually contracted covid last weekend, because he has so far refused a vaccine.
sure im invested but cant see why they dropped today so quick ? rns is out but not read it yet
Good evening to all members, I was wanting to ask a simple question regarding the deal between the 3 parties involved in this VAL301 concoction that is hopefully going to help the covid pandemic.
Basically what are Black Cat Bio Ltd bringing to the deal ?. ditto the other people, Oncolytika ? They are one man band Ltd companies, Black Cat Bio is based in the old Hinkley Rugby Club Cafe apparently....
I watched the recent shareholder webcast Tuesday, 8 December 2020 and I also checked out the june 2020 RNS which specifically stated "Oncolytika and Black Cat have filed a patent to protect the proposed use of the combination therapy." so does this mean that these two small companies could hold to ransom any other company wishing to exploit a successful combined drug (VAL301) ?
Hope this makes sense as Im only just really getting to grips with VAL .
thanks for your thoughts.
