Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Hi jndavid. Paul, Ojay etc. I think that seems to be a major obstacle here. The potential is so everwhelmingly mind blowing that every body, including the most ramptastic are unwilling to consider how much valued potential Matd have for fear of being shot down by the you know who mob. Let's see what happens and who wins Best wishes
Evening folks. A lot of people here refer back to previous failings by Matd and are too readily willing to accept that the same mistakes will be made. We are now over 7 years from our last drills and not only are technological techniques from 2010 far more advanced than we could imagine, our knowledge of what we knew before has also advanced beyond the realms of all recognition. 3D was new technology then. There are companies out there that have the knowledge to extract oil more efficiently than could ever be achieved before and exploration technology that was new and untried before but now accepted as being more effective and accurate than previous industry standard. Matd have utilised this modern technology with the use of FTG, HRAM, 2D and 3D seismic. They have geologists that are experts in their field including their CEO who has invested close to 200k of his own money because he believes in the results of the exploration data achieved so far. This data is intimating that there are multiple billions of barrels of oil in Mongolia. How many billions? Who knows but our current mcap is representative of 6 million barrels at a profit of $10 per barrel. 6 million barrels? We might have 4 thousand times that and the profit per barrel should be much more. At a raw valuation of $40 profit per barrel for 24 billion barrels then the value per share should be $2000. That's two thousand dollars. We are at 12p per share. We hit oil, which I think we will, this goes stratospheric. AIMHO. Let's hope that the pedantic are put aside this week with an RNS that eliminates the doubts regarding visas etc. Have a good one. Best wishes to all, Paul, Ojay, Mr P, Bonum, Sandy, 2010, Loz, big bench, MIKEY30, one rule et al.
If we get to 10p per share can we have a party at ICL's house, whatever planet that is on. Dusty I think you'll need the millennium falcon to get you there in time from that other part of the galaxy that you inhabit. I might drive!
Manro, not only have Matd published the final results RNS much earlier than last year, they have published much earlier than at anytime in the past. The earliest they have ever published was 21st June back in 2011. Since then it has been normal for them to publish on the 28th, 29th or 30th June. Take from that what you will but I don't think you are crazy to theorise that there may be a reason for publishing so early other than they just published it today because they felt like it.
I just don't know trillsg. It's too ambiguous. The most important thing is it needs to work! Best wishes
So, what may be happening is that Axm and JWI have royalty payments due from Australia but at present have the potential to have 33% ownership to any success in the rest of the world but should Multicom pay them $1.5m each, then both Axm and JWI are limited to royalty payments instead as well as the $1m should the project produce more than 100 tonnes per year. Is that how you understand it? Or am I being a bit naive or cynical. Either way, if we are limited to small returns with vanadium or royalty payments it is another validation that our tech needs adoption by the majors. I might sell some at 50p per share..... might, lol.
Hi Trillsg my point though is who has granted Multicom that licence? I've got Accudo in my head where Axm will grant exclusivity to their licence in Australia when Accudo complete their process in proving the ammleach process. Axm retain the rights to the licence in the rest of the world. To me it's the same thing. Axm and JW have already acceded to granting Multicom the exclusivity to the Australian licence but if Multicom want the worldwide licence then they have to pay JW and Axm $1.5m. I know it's simplistic but it's how I read it. I hope I am totally wrong.
I agree trillsg. The vanadium agreement is very ambiguous in its indications of value to Axm. Until this week I have always thought that it was worth a maximum of $2.5m. A $1.5m buy out clause for worldwide exclusivity and $1m for the first mine, and sale of product. I then realised that each mine with potential producing capacity of over 100 tonnes per annum is worth $1m to us. But now, I just don't know. Vanadium could be worth hundreds of millions annually so for us to help develop the IP and have a one third ownership of that IP to give it away for $1.5m seems unreasonable to me. There must be other royalty based payments involved somewhere other than the $1m per project producing over 100tonnes of vanadium pa. I just don't know. Seems like a poor deal on the surface.....but as ever it is another key that opens up new doors to the mining industry letting them see what we are all about. Best wishes
Nice work trillsg. Sounds promising
Lol. " No more worlds to conquer" Hi Trillsg, Chesh, Dusty, ICL, Barney, Funky, highroller, bikwik, cannons, James II et al. Nice to see you all here. Not much mention of biscuits recently, must be the cider weather. Best wishes all
Still here highroller. I'm enjoying the mini recovery. Would love to see a cracking RNS shortly and I would surmise that it would be from other sources than Accudo, multicom or Dr Welham and Lithium. I just think that we are still some time away from those projects bringing the news we expect. Instead I could see Duart in Zambia, Proses in Turkey/Iran or some new venture bringing news first. I quite like this bit regarding new ventures in the final results RNS "New opportunities Whilst we have not yet been able to advance an opportunity to the stage for public disclosure we remain active in evaluating several of interest." In the Vanadium update on January 31 the expected timelines were posted as follows "The expected timetable from the date of this announcement for the proposed technical work programme is as follows: Bulk sample delivered to JWI testing facilities: 1-2 months JWI and Alexander to complete phase one test work: 2-3 months Reporting of initial results: 3-4 months" Taking these timelines as running consecutively then the first phase should have been completed at the end of March and the second phase should be complete at the end of June, third phase ending in October. If the dates are running concurrently then the results should be due the end of May but I think they have to be consecutive phases so I am not expecting any results till towards the end of the year. Accudo have been tight lipped as we all know so god knows what is happening there and how far they have progressed but that could drop at anytime, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year. Not too happy that the company have not explained the procedural issues outwith their control regarding the lithium project but recent updates are very exciting. Reading between the lines it seems that results could be better than expected especially when the company mentions that government funding could be made available. This was an excerpt from the RNS on 25th April. "Preliminary discussions with potential partners in the UK, rest of Europe and Australia are underway with a view to increasing the funding available for development stages subsequent to the initial 'proof of concept' stage from both private and governmental sources. A further announcement will be made when new arrangements are in place." There still remains massive potential here and as we all know any one of these projects could be the key that opens the floodgates to becoming a global industry leader. Exciting times, it just seems to be a very long ride. Best wishes to all "Alexanders". N.B. I've just realised the helmet in the logo of AXM is a Greek helmet and must hint at Alexander the Great. Remember the quote in 'Die Hard' when Alan Rickman said " When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept. For there were no more wo
What a crock of sh*t RNS that was. We only managed to increase our estimates by 400 million barrels. We are only constructing a drilling platform. We are only mobilising the rig. We have the permit to drill, We have completed the drill rig tender process in block XX The permit application for block XX is running smoothly. We are on schedule to drill block XX in Q3/Q4 Thank goodness visa applications of some Chinese workers can delay the progress of Matd by a couple of days and keep the share price at a more representative level of a company with no potential whatsoever. Feck me, wake up people, this is happening, Matd is happening. We are unlocking billions of dollars of value here and a possibility of a slight delay is enough to suppress the share price. Reminds me of a joke, a grandfather is up a hill overlooking his home town with his grandson and he points to the bridge over the river. " See that bridge, I built that bridge. Do they call me Sean the bridge builder? No they don't. See that Church. I built that Church. Do they call me Sean the Church builder? No they don't. See those roads, I built those roads. Do they call me Sean the road builder? No they don't......... But shag one sheep........ I think we would all benefit from focusing on the positives here. There is a lot of them now with very few negatives. I'm in and staying in.
Starbucks. Ojay has never disclosed the size of his investment but has indicated it is close to 5 million, may be over that now. Personally I don't like the arguments that arise here, especially as I believe we all want to see this do well. It would be great if we could all sing from the same hymn sheet but unfortunately as we are all exposed financially and have differing views of when to invest and when to sell, disagreements will arise. It would be nice to close this chapter on the disagreement that arose over the weekend and focus on the future from now on. Best wishes
Evening Ojay, it was never my intention to encourage others to buy, I suppose I was just defending my decision to invest. I'm glad it's worked out for you so far and I hope Matd can bring us all good fortune in the coming months and years. Best wishes.
Morning Ojay. I didn't arrive here till 2015 but have been aware of Matd for a long time. I have a friend who sometimes posts on here who has been invested since prior to 2010. I remember him texting me while I was at work and it was along the lines of "Holy f*ck man, every time I press that refresh button I've made 2 grand". I remember feeling a sense of pleasure for him but also a sense of regret that although I knew about Matd I wasn't in a position financially to invest. I started buying Matd in relatively small amounts in 2015 and accumulating when I could afford to. Even when that disastrous RNS was released in 2016 regarding the Shell situation and the drop to under 1.5p I thought wait a minute this is an oil exploration company and I am invested in the potential. Now in this present moment we are fully funded to carry out four drills targeting billions of barrels of oil and the difference between now and 2010 is that we are drilling in extremely well researched targeted drilling sites. Why this is circa 13p per share is beyond me but I think my friend will be texting me soon to say " Holy fu*k man, every time I press that refresh button, I'm up 20 grand". They can set fire to rocks in our blocks, wtf. We're swimming in oil and we question why an RNS regarding permits hasn't been released. Has anybody ever seen an RNS released EVER about drilling permits being granted. This is our year. Buckle up and enjoy the ride
Lol. Have a good one trillsg x
Great minds and all that trillsg. Enjoy the summer weather, wee bit cloudy up here in jockland. Bikini shave?
We do have an enthusiastic lady member here ICL and personally I can't wait till this hits 8 per share. Nearly two years ago someone here promised to show their lady parts if the share price reached 8. She is still here posting on a regular basis and we all think she's great. I'll let you work it out, or she might fess up lol. Hi Cannons, it's a skies the limit share and I think we are all trying to remain grounded as the possibilities are mind boggling, but welcome aboard. Love your enthusiasm, we've all been there, been deflated, been there again, deflated again, been there, deflated, but we're getting there again. Now is the time to drop the transformational news. Have a great holiday weekend.
Would be great if it was that simple Hawkspear. Unfortunately lots of other factors come in to play, but our current mcap of 67m at current exchange rates would mean that at $1 profit per barrel is equivelant to Matd finding and recovering 90 million barrels. $10 profit - 9 million barrels, $40 profit - 2.25 million barrels. White horse and snow leopard could reveal 370 million barrels which would make $1 profit per barrel over 50p per share, $10 profit - 5 per share and $40 profit - over 20 per share. Falcon may provide big numbers, block XX is appraisal type drilling. Why we are under 13p per share is beyond me. Good luck to you and your better half. Best wishes
