You seem to forget one thing, Astar are not looking for drilling opportunities. Astar are walking around in wellies to optimise current and existing sites and not finding large oil reservoirs. The overheads will be minute in comparison to spudding. You cannot compare the companies, as although they are in the same sector, the philosophy of extracting oil is completely different. Astar are not looking for new oil reserves and so any dilution will be small in comparison and the asset will be there and so the dilution will be covered by the asset. Astar do not require funding to try and find a new asset. Once you have learnt their strategy, Astar's risk is considerably less than other companies in this sector. Hopefully, the news of rebranding will identify this further

Let us see what the CEO achieves in Mexico. Only then can we identify the full potential in Astar. A fund raise will be required then but this is months and months away but well above the current SP. With the Mcap, the potential at this early stage is phenominal but we all have to identify our own risk against reward.

What wages - Directors not getting a salary and running office costs negligible. Agree though that travel and due diligence will cost a bit but they started off with I think £1.3m in early April - hence i said over £1m but that is my view. And what figure do you have?

Asta have over £1million so no money is required until we have a license or 2. The BOD would not raise money at this price and in my view, it would be around 3 or 4p but not at this moment in time. Placing is months and months away. The traders have been in and taken their profit and has been overdone. the SP was around 2.3p before the last news and we will get back up to that figure soon. More news this time and we may stay in the 3s next time. Just my opinion so DYOR. Read the RNSs since March will give you an idea of the situation.

I have left messages on Christopher Raggett's phone from FinnCap several times over the last week and one from a few weeks ago as well. He has not returned my call even though I have complained about the lack of response. When I did this a few months back and in January, the call was returned. So I called his boss Stuart Andrews and left a message and still no response so I assume the do not wish to talk as they do not wish to let anything out of the bag. If they were going to be delisted, this I suspect would have happened yesterday. Bearing in mind the Christmas holiday was in the way, Neos may well have asked the Stock Exchange for extra time due to this and finalise a deal. You never know, we may get some money back :-)

Can only assume they are either actually allowed until the end of the calendar month or have arranged some kind of extension with the LSE. This, I'm sure, would be granted if it was just a matter of dotting i's and crossing t's on a deal of some sort. FinnCap must surely be pressing them to get an RNS out asap! IMPO/DYOR/NAI Jo PS. 'As and when required' implies it isn't yet required, which in turn implies they've been given more time. To do what is the question? - Clearly something acceptable to the authorities. Fully agree mate Abs - I do not know where you get your support from and I have indicated my resistance and support levels several times over the last month. I follow this every minute of the day for the last 3 months and this is my view. We will have to agree to disagree on this one

Photo - I fully agree with all your comments. I was an engineer and hated salesmen as they would sell anything and leave it up to the engineers to find a solution. And guess what I am now. A salesman equivalently in my own company for the last 14 years. Love them now :-)

I just emailed him with a few questions of current activities. My phone number is always attached on my email and he contacted me the other weekend. So nice to know he went out of his way to talk to me directly and Stefan seemed very optimistic and many things seem to be happening. Clearly, he could not specify any details but I know he is working hard to achieve his and Astar's goals
