It's an adversarial forum like most of these boards. Not inquisitorial for the most part. So a bit like the different legal systems in courts. The different sides make their cases and we 'members of the jury' decide who makes the better / most likely case (maybe buy and sell shares upon hearing the evidence). Of course some juries make mistakes, esp when we only know a tiny fraction of the full evidence, evidence only available to the boards of thse companies.

I've set a sell order for 35p for a portion of mine, just in case there's a rumour and I don't hear about it! 90 days.

Ice is probably right on AVCT but you need to take notice of another poster on that BB, Wyndrum, too – not for balance but for calling sp moves better than most.

Unless a rival bidder is happy to do both ie buy at 23p, sell at 30p and , even better, make a bid too? But then a 'no' vote on Monday would allow them to buy at less than 23p..

Seems sensible to me so happy to believe that Sid COULD up their offer after a no vote, as indicated by AI.

Thanks Mallett, I just don't have trust here. Lost money here (and previously in Nanosynth & BRH) and recall TB selling shares (in predecessor of Nanosynth) after RNS'ing that BRH wouldn't do that. But I still have one share as a bookmark and receive RNSs and that paid off for me a week or so ago.

So if there's a no vote, Sid can't offer again for 6 months UNLESS someone else offers more and then Sid could offer even more on top of that in a bidding war.

But if another entity offers *less* than 30p are Sid still locked out for 6 months?
