Tim, for the moment this is interesting. I'm interested anyway.
(When we get Jehovah's witnesses at the door I politely point out that my wife is Catholic and we go to the church down the road. That always works for me.)
A friend-of-a-friend is on avastin https://www.avastin.com/patient/ovar/about/difference-from-chemotherapy.html
Looking at the side effects it'd be better if it could be delivered by pre|cision platform.
'the post yesterday asking for my posts not to be deleted gained 21 recs'
Wyn, I can think of two options. Either LSE are removing your posts so that the 21 people who want to read your ideas will visit more often and so see more adds.
Or; Watching2 and colleagues (though probably not Apre or DTW theses days) are enjoying a very small taste of power for the first time in their otherwise emasculated lives by trying to silence you.
On another note, having spent a bit of time in A&E with daughter over the last 8 days, I had a conversation with someone whose 80 year old dad has, simultaneously, 4 different types of cancer. Might be a small market but AVA6k could be more use there than some of the more tailored and individual treatments.
Watching, I missed Wyn's post, probably because of you. How helpful are your posts? Here's a random one of yours from last week:
'Break 57p. 65 is on the cards
Only patience is required'
How informative was that information to people like me?
Regarding DX, I notice ABDX currently +33.33% today. So would AS really spin-off / sell-off his own DX (which is conceivably doing quite well at the moment) and then be left with TX division that doesn't work and has little prospect of working, and with the 'not working' news not far from being revealed?
Doesn't seem likely to me, but what do I know.
CTSFO;
My understanding is that cake goes dry as it ages. Biscuits, on the other hand, go soft in time.
So wasn't the judgement that Jaffa Cakes are cake as they go dry? Seems like a wise judge on that case. (Made a big difference 'cos the vat rates were different.)
Alex's biscuits...
bi - twice.
cuits - cooked.
Biscuits, invented by someone French who cooked them twice. (Who says I bring nothing to the bb?)
For clarity, I do not have the same IP address as watching2.
I know we get hung up on just what a 'therapeutic level' actually is, and it is quite relevant to the AVCT sp. An analogy came to me and I just wanted to share.
Alcohol is a drug, and some people 'self medicate’ using it, quite a lot of people in fact. Just suppose there was a new product, lets call it AVA70º and AVA70º hopes to replace... Scotch whisky (maybe even a platform so Gordons Gin and Stella Artois too).
Rather handily, AVA70º only cleaves in the brain on contact with some up-regulated brainy protein. The hope is it doesn't give you high blood pressure, nor heart disease, stroke, digestive problems; nor increase your chances of mouth, throat, oesophagus, voice box, liver, colon, and rectum cancer. There’s not even any alcohol on your breath after drinking (could be handy for driving home after Christmas parties.... And whiskey is a multi £B's market, world-wide.
Then the CEO says the AVA70º has, so far, only been tested for safety – and yet, some people are actually falling over, singing raucous songs, generally showing efficacy :-)
Upon trying to hawk AVA70º around the distillers the CEO of AVA70º finds that the bosses of Diageo plc, United Distillers, et al, would rather like to know whether the 'therapeutic dose' is closer to 'half a shandy', or to a 'treble Scotch'. Good question? Alcohol is alcohol, will behave like alcohol in the brain (it’s a very well known drug in fact) but while both doses are technically ‘therapeutic', Diageo know they'll sell a lot more of AVA70º if it gets closer to the effects of Whisky than to half a shandy. In fact, Diageo refuse to pay top whack until there’s phase 2 efficacy data to show just how p*ssed you can get on AVA70º, without side effects. If the top dose is shandy after all, the total market will be rather smaller.
So we wait and see.
Thank you.
I seem to recall a post of your that went something like "Yeah, I've had lots of pseudonyms, blah, blah, Epping. Tbh I've had so many I've forgotten some".
And something like: 'Ripley hasn't gone, he's still here reading'.
The writing style has never changed though, and the insults are familiar.
It's all a joke to you, a panto. One day a Liverpudlian builder and the next a Matt Damon fan from Essex. You rarely mean a word you write, just a way to pass the time and play your games. (That and new accounts on X / Twitter in all likelihood, designed to discredit.)
IMO.
Also, I am not a troll but an investor in Avacta, and a few other shares.
With HL the money for placement shares has to be in your account by 5pm today (HL: 'for your application to remain valid, you must top up your SIPP Account .... by 5pm on Friday 08 March'.). Maybe some will sell this morning at 55p so they have funds to buy back at 50p at the end of today.
I can't see the point in selling placement shares once everyone has them when you could easily sell an equivalent amount anytime and then just wait for replacement 50p shares to arrive; if flipping is your intention.
Maybe this has been posted but I don't see it with a quick look. Listen from 8 mins and 45 secs
