So the vote was to reclassify the share premium, non-distributive reserve reclassification and a General Authorisation (for who knows what!) No votes against but 923,383 votes abstained! Or as I call it, those who didn't get to vote due to being given information on how to join the electronic meeting! Which I'm fairly sure is against the rules!
Despite the GM being listed for now, there has been no information for how investors are even supposed to join or vote in the GM! Shady work afoot!
Flk, TBH I have no idea on details. Just this could be the reason for the secrecy around the GM called for the 26th, so that there isn't a big rise prior to the vote, alla Gamestop.
I'm hearing whispers that the mystery GM could be to vote on accepting a potential acquisition offer!
No **** Sherlock! My comment was on the effect, not the process.
I see that there has been an avalanche of sales, with quite large amounts driving the SP down. I'm guessing that those who bought at a lower price are dumping to make a few pennies!
Though I see that a rush of micro buys have come in to try to turn the SP back!
I'd like to know why there are so many small/tiny trades!
Maybe we will all being going to the moon off the back of the vote in the GM on the 26th!
I'm not sure how the acquisition by one of FLXs suppliers of another company will help FLX. Sure the tooling FLX uses will be better, but then so will any other competitor who uses SentinelOne.
In fact as Scalyr is a competitor to Furnace.io (which though spun out of FLX, still has loan repayments to FLX and FLX owns shares in) I see this is bad.
Ideally Furnace.io would have been acquired by SentinelOne and therefore FLX's stock and income would have gone up!!
Bit old that info!
What a short notice GM with no details, that will be conducted by an online poll? Ripe for abuse!
TBH I'm hoping this will hold and even, fingers crossed, increase! I want my losses to reduce.
Glad to see this rise, not sure why it has happened as there has been no change since the last RNS. But based on the number of buys and sells, i'm assuming the rise is due to investors buying and then selling on the rises.
TBH, I was surprised at the number who agreed to this, unless the institutional investors had private briefings and have been told they a) its mostly for acquisition, and b) that they will get first dibs on the placing (as was hinted in the AGM note).
US Government telling organisations to turn off Solarwinds: https://www.crn.com/news/security/fireeye-us-federal-agencies-hacked-through-solarwinds-report
UK NCSC alert on it: https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/news/ncsc-statement-on-fireeye-incident
You would expect FLX to have issued a statement about their strategic partner by now though!!
The SolarWinds partnership looks like it could be a bad egg for FLX: https://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-fireeye-confirm-solarwinds-supply-chain-attack/
No I'm not Noel. However, it looks like my assumption was correct, which TBH is a shame as I want the SP to rise enough that I can dump some.
The FLX SP is progressing on a steady, but precarious, increase, though I cannot see why as the buys have been small!
I'm guessing that the last few buys have been speculative and based on the slight upward trajectory, with the direction of the SP being monitored closely so rapid dumping can be done if the SP starts going the other way.
Mr Dribbles and Dodgepot - I can guarantee that I hold more shares in FLX than you 2 combined, so have skin in the game, but I'm under no illusion that its a dog. Feel free to filter me, but as I know more about FLX than anyone else who comments on this BB it would be foolish. I'm assuming FK1 has BT broadband, hence the same "IP address", since there is a limit on IP4 addresses and all broadband providers NAT their issued IP addresses several times, there a lot of people "using" the same IP. But then if you knew anything about networking you would know this.
FK1, The AGM resolutions are a hoot: 1) Seeking reappointment of a NED who doesn't do anything useful and takes additional cash by providing "services" on top of the NED remuneration; 2) Seeking a resolution to unconditionally authorise the Directors to allot and issue or grant rights to up to a aggregate of an additional 100,000,000+ Shares! That's an increase of 20%!! to issue in either consideration of acquisition or for the placing of shares with investors to raise funds!! So, this year 525M next year 625M!! Not even pretending! 3) Seeking a resolution for Dis-application of Pre-emption Rights, meaning that they wont have to offer the shares to existing shareholders first, ie here comes a Placement!!
