It's probably belated because the main man only started on 6th, and yet he has to chip in on the TU. Last year's January update was benign but misleading imo, which obviously led to many getting sucked in expecting a decent divi, so I do hope they take the time to make clear statements of trading & direction in this one. I expect we are seeing manoeuvres similar to those of Halfords SP pre-update last week.

Suspect we may see some further sheep worrying SP moves ahead of the TU, I took advantage this morning to add. Just hope it's not bland.

Elephant in the room is Marcus (directly) was paying more than this Saga concession. Now both at 1.35% neither account is a market leading rate.

Serious question...As a bear here, do you also hold a bull target? Interested to know a turnaround / come good SP scenario that you may have thought about?

Market views this as transitional. Set against a tricky industrial backdrop, and wider UK macroeconomic uncertainties, it's wide open to being played, as obviously many instis are short and long simultaneously, and have to churn the SP to continue to generate return in the absence of trading news. I'm sure you are well aware.

Also dubious of many of the instant high gainers seen on Friday morning, but required as part of the game. They will be tested and gaps filled, as ever.
