Always amazes me how people turn negative so quickly just because it doesn’t go up every day. Get used to it, stocks go up and stocks go down. Worrying about daily movements can’t be good for your sanity.

It’s to keep pace with NTC’s predicted valuation of RR. If it doesn’t keep jumping / rising then it’ll fail to reach the target, therefore upsetting the cat. And nobody wants to upset the cat, not even RR.

The UT isn’t just one trade. It’s a matching of orders at the end of the day. If buyers prices matches sellers prices the trades execute and are all classified as the UT.

Therefore we won’t necessarily see a TR1

Rolls-Royce Holdings plc (the Company) announces that the following persons discharging managerial responsibilities received ordinary shares of 20p each in the Company due to a percentage of their base salary being deferred into shares for two years under the Rolls-Royce Incentive Plan, as set out in the remuneration policy approved by shareholders at the 2021 AGM.

It stipulates on the RNS if it was a share scheme, salary etc…… this is a direct purchase
