No I don’t. The SMR decision wasn’t the size expected but still an extremely positive step in the right direction. They were awarded the contract so it’s only an upwards trajectory on that front. Especially with Holtec’s announcement today.
SMR isn’t just the U.K. RR are winning / targeting contracts globally. Across Europe and not forgetting the Qatari investment here too.
Looking at the timeframes that the big big ££ will roll in for SMR maybe we were to hopeful of an immediate rise but what we now have is a colossal animal in RR that is future proofing its business both in terms of Nuclear and Engines
Sounds to me that they announced their grand plans hoping it’d give them the edge over the competition, in the eyes of the U.K. Govt. A last ditch effort to sway a vote they felt they were losing
