Fear of sanctions has to disappear (although I don’t think they’ll be placing them here anyway). Peace / ceasefire. In UKR needs to happen. Less negative sentiment towards Russia in general needs to happen.

The business itself is absolutely fine and fundamentally a good investment. It’s just the above that is causing the issues.

With the current SP, and the prices we’ve been able to buy at I think a lot of the risk has been taken off the table anyway. For a retail investor when looking at the performance charts and reading the tabloids about Russia, sanctions etc it just screams RISK.

Once Ii’s are allowed to buy without the negative “look” of buying Anything associated with Russia (so they don’t look like they’re being unethical) then this SP will rocket, especially as most of them are sitting in high averages.

All my opinion, not giving you financial advice……

Look at it this way…. If you put 1000 people in a room and explained all the risks and all the negative possibilities and the positives versus the possible gain and then offered then something with much less risk and just what would be an acceptable possible gain then most would go for the lower risk option.

So we are going against the grain. The majority of PI’s don’t dabble with shares, they use funds and will be closely aligned to their risk appetite, which in most cases would be well below something like Poly, more so with the war going on.

I’m an IFA so this is fact….. put it down to human nature and being too emotional when investing.

Yes. In principal we are still holding / buying against what other people may judge, it being a higher risk investment than most others due to the current situation.

Yep, just checking the chart and its been dropped to 1.93 / 1.94 multiple times now. Surely the MM´s arent doing this strategically to sweep people out with stop losses

And on the note of filtering. I have no issue with differing opinions on the SP or the company. It’s just those that decided to make it a war forum for whatever reason. Also noticed a few of them were new users and just trying to wind others up.

The more I think about it the more it says that he must have unfiltered everybody. There’s no way he would have known I started the thread so no reason to unfilter me !

Like it has been mentioned. If they had defaulted then they would have to announce it immediately. So its either been covered or theyve found a different work around.

They should make an announcement either way really.......
